Q29 Does Blur and Displacement stack with each other?
A 29

Yes, but not in the sense that they give you a 70% miss chance. Instead, anyone attacking you needs to beat both the 20% miss chance and the 50% miss chance. So the effective miss chance would be 60%.

I always though no forms of concealment stack... ever.  You only get the benefit of the highest bonus.

They don't stack, it's more of an overlap. When he said an effective 60% miss chance, I think it was meant that you have to overcome two different miss chances.

Still looking for the highest amount of gold a character at 1st level can get, at character creation (no selling spellbooks, getting ancestral weapons, or any other ways of cheating because no 1st level PC is going to get 1000 gold right off the bat).

Q 30 When using a weapon crystal (demolition, etc), do they get multipliers too when used on a critical, or are they still the same +1d6 as they'd normally be?

Aye, statistically, your chance of blowing either of the miss chances comes out to 60%. While they don't "stack" per se, I've never seen any rules passage that states you don't have to roll for any and all miss chances that may apply (of course, normal 20% concealment and total concealment are mutually exclusive, but Displacement doesn't actually give total concealment, as the spell notes). To back this up, why would the Swiftblade PrC specifically state that the miss chances it grants don't stack with other things that grant miss chances if this wasn't the casr?
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

q33: Is there any 3.5 update to the 3.0 Masters of the Wild PrC 'Tamer of Beasts'?

Beastmaster.
my pdf copy of MotW has marked the classes that have been updated, and which book they were updated in.  It has the update for Tamer of Beasts as being in CAdv -- and the only class in CAdv that remotely looks like Tamer of Beasts is Beastmaster.

there is a feat somewhere that doubles your 1st-level starting gold -- so just take the max for what you can find, and double it (that's still an ass-load of gold for a 1st-level character)

A34
stays normal unless stated otherwise -- they basically mimic other regular weapon enhancements.  (this seems to be the status quo for crits, right?)

BTW -- the #'s got a little off -- fixed.  the next question should be "35" (I think).

Q21: what is the best form for a 6th level MoMF to take to for grappling?

This is one of the best resources for MoMFs: http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19528526/updated_Master_of_Many_Forms_Bible__official_wild_shape_rules

Typically you'll want to go for the biggest creature with highest Str. Once you hit level 7 though, it's a whole 'nuther ballgame.

Is it actually stated anywhere that Beastmaster replaces Tamer of Beasts? I thought the rule was that only things with the same name overwrote the older material (or if it specifically says so in the 3.5 update doc).

well, evidently the first source I sited wasn't good enough (though, I have verified all notations -- they weren't just slopped in there arbitrarily), so HERE is the 100% Official source for all things updated.

Dont think that would work. you're not casting a spell, you're using you CL as a variable to determine the effect of a continuous class feature.

Yoy get animal companions with a total HD equal to (CL+Tamer of Beasts level)*2. without CL trickery, you can have a druid 10/ToB 10 with practiced spellcaster get 60 HD, or 3 animals with 20 HD. or 15 fleshrakers.
