Source on those things, if you'd be so kind? :)

Races of Stone has Dwarvencraft Quality.  Harden is I think in Eberron Campaign Setting... it's definitely one of the Eberron books. Augment Object is in Stronghold Builder's Guide.

Medium creatures only, I'm afraid ;p

In the campaign hooks section, it mentions a gnome wearing the stuff.  Clearly it's available for the little tykes.

Actually it mentions the gnome using someone else who's wearing the armor ;)

Hardening is also in the Spell Compendium.

Also, does it state if it is a bonus, if not, wouldn't it be stackable? ^.-

The only problem I can see offhand is that, if the armor is damaged, it takes a DC 30 disable device to fix.  That's not hard to reach, but most characters who would use this armor probably would not have disable device (except artificers I suppose ;p)

I'm pretty sure this is what you are thinking of adding to your campaign.

No type, and instantaneous,  but the same source never stacks with itself, so you can't do it multiple times to the same thing.  Handy spell none the less.

Wait a second, magic armor normally sizes to fit the bearer anyway.

Just make it +1.

Are you sure that goes explicitely for armor as well?
I seem to remember such a rule for wondrous items and the like, but not for weapons or armor...

Since it's instantaneous, yes you can do it multiple times.  The magic is departed immedietly after the spell has the effect, so there is no spell effect on it when you cast Hardening again.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

You could always use the Armor for Unusual Creatures table in the PHB.

Creating a specific suit of armor to fit a small creature would be double the cost and half the weight.

Only thing that I keep wondering about, is there a way to make an item immune to cold damage?

This might be fun for my Kobold Artificer :D
Make it a creature somehow, (animate objects, psion sandwich, etc) then give it an item or something.

Ah, but is that before or after the cost of enchantments?

Before.  Why wouldn't it be?

Do larger or smaller than normal weapons, wondrous items, or anything else have an increased price to enchant them?

Hmmm, how much for a permenant Anticold Sphere?

Also on the subject, from Iron Man I, "so how did you solve the icing problem?"
"Icing problem?"

by RAW, even if you could, it would still freeze up.
