Unless something prevents her from sliding, Aanna should be unbloodied, and in C5.

Right, forgot to update that on the map. Will fix that in a moment.
Should be all set, though you might need to hit Refresh to get it updated.

There, Amnon feels better about things now.

The kobold dies spectacularly, blood splashing everywhere (particularly on Amnon and his weapon)!
All the kobolds seem to immediately shift their attention to Amnon simultaneously. The shielded kobold shouts out, "Regroup! Kill the red, horny Paladin!" Several kobolds can be heard snickering.

... am I the only one who LOL'ed at this?  :lmao

No, as you can see the fictional kobolds also laughed at it. :D

If the character were a female Zap probably would have asked if she were hot. Benifits of a high charisma, you can get away with that kind of stuff.   :p

I have a high charisma and I'm a paladin.  Nobody gets away with that from me.   :p

I rolled my eyes, I swear these kobolds are going to make Amnon take barbarian multiclass feats.   :shakefist

I'm glad I can get you that invested in the game. :P

Honestly though, I'm surprised that these guys managed to take so much out of you, and the fight's not even near over.
Mostly it was bad rolls on your side. If you guys don't like IC, and can find some equivalent, let me know.

Luck of the dice. I don't think IC actually hates us that bad - it's just easy to blame it. Knowing nothing of programming, I can't really tell what they use to produce semi-random numbers (because I'm pretty sure almost no RNG is truly random), so I don't know how good or bad it is.
There's also the fact that kobolds are immensely annoying due to their minor-action shifts, especially when they come in zerg rushes. Due to the near-constant flanking, you can pretty much always count their to-hit as two higher, and since you can be nearly sure to take OAs whenever you move without shifting or sliding, as well as them having a massive action economy advantage, the damage adds up, even from minions.

Computers generate random numbers via the sound card. There is apparently some nearly perfectly random frequency that is generated by a sound card and the computer picks a point along the history of that frequency based on the time since the computer was last turned on. I don't recall it all since it has been over 10 years since that programming class which I learned that information, but that is a good enough description to get the idea across.

I have three things to say.

1) YAY, I killed something!  :D

2) That fucking slinger is going to die.   :shakefist

3) I'm bloodied now.  :(

1) You sure did!

2) It seems to be headed for a cave opening

3) And your party's almost out of healing. Luckily paladins have Lay On Hands, usually. :)

About lay on hands: I do, but as it doesn't fit my character at all whenever you allow retraining it's one of the things that is going to go.   :p

I'm not sure the Paladin has a class feature that can be selected as an alternative to Lay On Hands. I might allow you to swap it for the Essentials Cavalier's Holy Smite power, though.

And retraining happens whenever you guys gain a level. Every level, each character is allowed to retrain one thing, be it a feat, power selection, skill selection, class feature, etc.

It's built into the 4E rules.

See Divine Power.

However, looking at how much IC wuvs us, I'm in favor of Amnon keeping Lay on Hands. We can coerce him into using it, if we need to. :P
Reminds me, was there any Essentials concerning the Bard yet?

Not that I'm aware, as of yet. There's some speculation that they'll release an Essentials Bard, especially since it seems one of the focuses of Essentials is bringing back the ability for one class to fill different roles depending on what class features you go with. This is already possible to a degree, but isn't taken as far with secondary roles and power selection.

As for Lay on Hands... Amnon's Insight isn't all that hot. I've heard every time an ally asks you to use LoH on them and you refuse, Tiamat spawns a new kobold tribe that then goes on to kidnap an innocent elf maiden. ;)

About Lay on Hands replacement: See what Agita said.

One thing a level?  Well around level four or so I'll have my powers the way I want them then.   :P

Guys, quick question: do I go after the running kobold, or I try to kill K?
