Well, it's basically the exact same as Lesser Orb of XXX, except that you need to make a regular attack roll (net -4 to 6 to hit against many targets this level), and in exchange, you hinder movement a bit (stopping charges is probably the best part).  Seems fair enough to me.

Do you guys want to bring your guys up to level 4, or do you want to try something else at this level?  I might have a bit more free time these next few days.  I'll have company from the 30th to the 1st.

I'm ready for the next level. I mainly would just need to look at my new spells anyway.

Cool.  So you guys level to 4 and buy some new equipment.

Also, here's an official write-up for Hail of Stone:

Hail of Stone

Conjuration [Earth]
Level:   Sor/Wiz 1, Geo 1
Components:   V, S
Casting Time:   1 standard action
Range:   Medium (100 ft. + 10 ft./level)
Effect:   hail of stones
Duration:   Instantaneous
Saving Throw:   None
Spell Resistance:   No

This spell creates a hail of stones that strike a target on a successful ranged attack roll (not a touch attack).  Use your caster level or your base attack bonus for this attack roll, whichever is higher.  If the attack is successful, it deals 1d8 points of bludgeoning damage, plus 1d8 per two caster levels after 1st (max 5d8 at 9th level).  If the attack is successful, it creates a square of difficult terrain where the target is struck.  For creatures larger than medium, pick one of the creature's squares to be affected.  Creatures cannot charge or run through the square, and it takes an extra square of movement to move out of it, nor can they five-foot-step in or out of the square.

If the attack misses, the rocks spread too far apart to hinder movement.

To double check, we are just leveling up, or is there the option of basiclly starting from scratch (redoing feats/gear/etc)?

I guess, honestly, I don't think I really care either way.  If there's something major you want to redo, go for it.

If the wolf does charge this round, assume I don't take the attack penalty for stone power, since I already have THP.
I don't have my ToB handy, but how long do the temp HP last?  You picked them up before your round on the wolf's turn.  Do you lose them at the beginning of your next turn?
