When you cast Awaken Undead, remember that affects all undead in a given radius... so stack-em like cordwood.  I'm a big fan of allowing the spell to grant them the benefits that come along with being Intelligent Undead (skills and feats).  Yeah, yeah, they do not "re-gain" the feats they had in life... but I allow for Awaken Undead to be researched to "program" a specific set of skills and feats.  If you want a different set, you research another version of Awaken Undead.

Requiem is a feat from Libris Mortis IIRC... and would allow your undead Bards to affect your undead horde.  Toss in the Masterwork wardrums and the different elemental flavors of Dragonfire Inspiration, and your newly formed precussion orchestra can be a bad-arse force multiplier.

archangel.arcanis, it's spelled "Marshal".   :)  I'm pretty sure the bonus is untyped, but the benefit only works on folks with an Intelligence of 3 or more and that understand the marshal's language.

...what the heck is the character limit on this thing?...  I couldn't squeeze more into my last post!

Here's some fun homework; look up the stats and compare the following:

Ghaele Eladrin
Arrow Demon
Kelvazu

(I probably mispelled something there)

To get the most bang for your buck, I think you really gotta stick to the highest HD you can manage... otherwise you're just wasting valuable logistical time on fodder.  Although level 1's would be nice for special abilities, like Dread Necromancers... Necropolitan followers or somesuch.

oh god, undead army. Totally unaffected by the fell animated blizzard, trudges slowly through the snow, their numbers only growing.

*looks up blizzard*

100 feet/lvl, not miles. Damn

lesser planar binding monsters to kill could work at lower level
Lesser Planar Ally is even earlier, but might piss off your god.  :lol
[spoiler]
A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

Obviously you want fimbulmwinter (or even better a Major Iceheart) go go 1 mile/level
