Yeah, but can you shoot straight?  :D Sorry, from SF, too many of these jokes stored away...

By the by, why have so many pbp's popped up in the past three weeks or so? Winter was dead, then they all just spring forth after break's over?

Meh, whatever.

So how are the teams going to be split up?

I'm still figuring that out. Since each character is pretty much a force to be reckoned with in their own right I might just randomly assign them (with the exception of people with linked backgrounds). Also, if anyone wants to be around someone else, speak now or forever hold your peace.

Looks like our sub-forum is up.

As for grouping, I'm a blaster with battlefield control and eventual buffing. So anyone who wants that can have me. Yeah...

Guess I'll just sit over here in the corner.  :bigeye

Aye, I recall as much on your background.

(It was never quite implied WHY Kyx did what he did, but that's pretty minor.)

Why he did what? Rode around inside the beast-man? I think he's a bit of a voyeur at this point in his "career"... :P

Is it possible for him to possess someone but not take active control of them? I know a Fiend of Possession can do that, but it isn't normally possible with the Magic Jar spell. But that's probably because the target's soul is shoved into a gem normally. In the case with a SwtBE, it is actually still in the body, though.

I think it would be cool for him to be able to just ride around passively in creatures if he wants, and only take control when he wants, though.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.

I don't see a problem with that. Keep in mind that as long as he's "riding" he can't use the target's body for whatever purpose (so no doubling actions on a single body, for example) and it'll take him (and the body) the regular action to possess someone else. This is to prevent him from simply trying to possess target enemy(ies) over and over, then killing the bodies off/incapacitating it and leaping to the next.

That's fine. I don't want to abuse it. I just want it to do it because it's cool.  :sherlock So he could have literally spent the last centuries not interacting with the world at all, except for when his current body was about to die somehow and he had to possess a new one. He might have even started thinking of himself as the creatures he inhabited, and thinking he was being "reincarnated" when he changed bodies, or something weird...

If any of you guys want to stick together besides Phaedrus and Hijax, speak up.

In fact, it might be easier to let you guys pick the party you want. Keep in mind there will be only 4-5 slots per party.

We might want to take these discussions to our subforum. I'm sure AC'll close this thread up soon enough.

I don't currently have any particular ties to the others, it seems. Thematically, I fit closest to Phaedrus's character, due to the dragon thing, but that's only a minor connection at best. Not everyone's posted their sheets in the sub-forum either, so I haven't fished around through this thread to see what else I could be grouped with. Maybe the Big Guy? :D
