Anyone wanna look over the sheet for Alcaeus, my charrie, and see if there's anything around 3200 gp worth that I might want/need? I can't decide what to buy, though I'm thinking at least a secondary weapon, for variety from just my slam attacks... since they're not too boss yet...
Necklace of natural weapons
add Enhancement pluses and weapon specials to your natural attacks. It costs 600 + what a weapon would cost with those effects. 2600 gp for +1 on your attacks.
Unless it is counted as a minor magic item for the tome rules, then It scales per book of gears.
Countdown to Zombie Apocalypse 97
When you see this, copy it into your sig and -1

When you use a tool the way it was designed for -- its intended function -- then it will work very well for you.

But it's not the tool's fault if you use it for something else and you fail utterly, such as trying to eat cereal with a butterknife, pounding nails with a screwdriver, blogging to voice your political opinions, and brushing your teeth with a hammer.

Get some magical clothing (anything in the non-armor section here). For 1000 gp, you can get an enhancement bonus that scales with your level to your AC. (Those bonuses are also rounded up.) You might also get an amulet of natural armor, if you're pumping your AC. They're also cheap and scale, and if we're using the MIC rules on combining items, you could just add it to a necklace of natural attacks with no increase in cost above the two base items.

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.

Well in that case, gonna drop the periapt of wisdom, get the necklace of natural armor + attacks (4600 total, for +1 AC +1 attacks, and it scales up to +2/each next level, if I'm right), and that leaves me with 2600, which I'll snag the clothing with and have 1600 left over....

It will actually start at +2 this level, as it is rounded up as I mentioned. (That's easy to miss as things usually round down in D&D, but they specifically say this rounds up).

For the 1600 left... the anklet of translocation lets you teleport 10 feet twice per day as a swift action. That can be incredibly handy for escaping grapples and the like.

A good suggestion (with full bab and a +5 str mod, dunno if grapples are what I'm worried about exactly, lol), but also pointing out that under tome rules (not sure if this is used) natural armor and normal armor only sort of stack (it's 1/2 the lower bonus + 1/1 highest bonus). Still, that's an extra point of AC for me!

Bah, that's pretty much the exact item list that I was leaning toward. :(
OOC-well for that matter he could just ride on my sword, that's about 15' ;)
OOC - That's what SHE said!  But, otherwise, that works for me, if you guys are willing.

Oh yeah, I've been ignoring that one in my game and had forgotten it. :P

Edit: Hey Hijax, is this feat from the "Unsorted Material" thread on the gaming den (where Frank and K hang out) ok?

Quote
Trick Shooting [Combat]
You could shoot a hair off a donkey's ass. If you wanted to.
Benefit: You can hit a second target within 10 feet of your original target with a ricochet. Make a second attack roll at a -4 to hit. Targets are automatically considered flat-footed against a riccochet attack.
+1: You can disarm, bull rush, or trip opponents with your shots. Your weapon counts as one-handed for these purposes, and you use your Dex score in place of your Str.
+6: You can pin enemies with your shots. They must be standing next to a wall (or be bull rushed into it!). Every arrow after the first successful grapple check is made grants a +1 bonus to the total check to maintain the pin.
+11: You get a +4 bonus on ranged disarm, bull rush, trip, and pin attempts per difference in size category between you and your target.
+16: You no longer take the -4 penalty when making a ricochet shot. In addition, you may riccochet to a second target within 20 feet and make a second riccochet attack off of that second target at a -4 penalty.

And though it makes references to shots and arrows, any reason I couldn't use this with thrown daggers instead?

Hijax alreadys posted up the finalized roster, and not everyone who made characters got in as it was, so I'm pretty sure there's no room.

One thing I like about this game idea is that arcane spellcasters are feard, mad, etc.  It's a nice contrast to the Harry Potter-like Ubiquitous magic of settings like FR and Eberron (where magic is like super tech).

It makes magic and magical things more exotic and special, and therfore more remarkable when encountered.  You would think the average DnD citezen would be practically jaded and nonplussed when seeing magic or strange beings.
