Ghost Rider
Spawn
Batman

Any combination of the above.

*and I've actually done work on classes for Lanterns, Ghost Rider and Spawn.

I'd love to play a Dire Werewolf version of a character I made, my Kung Fu Ninja Pirate.  Yeah, you heard me.

I'd love to do a Bo9S character, most likely a warblade.  I've done most everything else in D&D that intrigues me.

I'd love to play a gestalt pyrokineticist/dervish/lasher with a DM sufficiently permissible to rewrite Fire Lash to just say that it functions exactly as a whip, except that it requires a ranged touch attack to hit and deals 1d8 points of fire damage on a hit instead of its normal damage. And agree that, even though it deals fire damage, a fire lash is still a slashing weapon because it functions just as a whip, which is a slashing weapon.
So you end up stuck in an endless loop, unable to act, forever.

In retrospect, much like Keanu Reeves.

I played in a game with a half-succubus once.  Worked out fine, but the DM was dating the player so...

A Maug. With literal tons of grafts. Who likes to smash things. Really hard.

A full arcane caster - no, I never played one of those and seriously long to. Probably a rainbow-obsessed Sorcerer-based Initiate of the Sevenfold Veil, very likely an enthusiastic girly girl dressing all in bright colors and stuff, spreading optimism where none is warranted.

A pirate with my own ship.

A Swift Hunter.

Most of the characters that I come up with fall into this category. I just don't get to play as often as I'd like and when I make characters I know I'll get to play I tend to favor something I know (because it seems I'm always rushed to make a character when there's actually a game they're going to be in) so I can make it quickly and not drag the group down.
I don't employ memes. Mass-produced ammunition, even from reputable manufacturers, tends to malfunction on occasion.

I would love to play a gestalt character for once.  Swiftblade/Abjurant Chapion:Dervish/Tempest.  I have no idea how this would work but it sounds like it would give my DM a headache.

I always have a ton of character ideas, but the one that i've had for years and never been able to play was my Mindflayer cannibal. It says they target the most intelligent creatures first, so why not have the deviant that targets his own.
Clerics and Druids are like the 4 and 2 in 42. Together they are the answer to the ultimate question in D&D.
Retire the character before the DM smacks you with the Table as the book will feel totally inadequate now.-Hazren

A Green Lantern

Ghost Rider
Spawn
Batman

Any combination of the above.

I just realized how awesome the background for a character that was Lantern Hellspawn Ghost Rider Batman would be...

Bruce, son of the wealthy Wayne noble family witnessed his parents slain by a high way brigand at the tender age of 8. For the next 12 years, he was raised by his family butler who became a surrogate father figure and trained him to become a valourous adventurer who punishes evil under the guise of the bat, a totem of fear. At some point, this father figure is horribly taken from him, slain by his arch enemy who has discovered a magic ring of great power powered by indomitable will. Upon defeating the scoundrel, the ring rejects him and latches onto Bruce, adding it's magical power to his mundane. Still distraught by the loss of his father of the last 12 years, Bruce is contacted by Mephistopheles, and a deal is proffered: His psuedo-father returned to life, in exchange for becoming Hell's bounty hunter. Bruce takes the deal in his grief and drive for vengeance. A few years down the line, when Bruce is slain, he is stolen from what should be his reward by Hell's gnarled hand, and put up as the general of Asmodeus' armies, his body infused by diabolic essence, and a symbiotic fiend bound to his necrocarnum flesh that becomes armour, weapon and ally. He rebels against Asmodeus, refusing to be a pawn in the Blood War, killing one endless evil for another, and sets himself apart, claiming the material plane as his own. Now Bruce stalks the land, powered by eldritch and diabolic energies which supplement his own supreme mastery of the mundane martial arts, dealing justice to those who cross his path or would harm the innocent.

Awesome Stuff

Unfortunately you would have a hard time writing any good stories for that character as any problems he encounters could just be solved with little effort.
