Hmm...guess no followers then, cannot think of anything for them to be doing.

there is a few things they can do like for example a low level roge / or any character with hide and move silently can by used to fallow or scout targets and a nother example a low level durid or ranger (or any one with knolage nature ) would can easily get a job in the garden of a noble estate after a few days you can get an idea of the gards deployments, shit changes, and they may learn something useful. you have to think like a scoundral. in were you deploy fallowers, or minions. So that they are hidden in plain sight, or the unnoticed.
Well I still have to house and feed those not in the field, which was why I was looking at a shop. Not really one as per the DMGII, but more of a small business that would provide for the cost of food and housing. No gain or loss of gold to me, at all. It was really more for fluff purposes, maybe a safe house, and just maybe the start of a thief organization with landlord.

Possible strange request, can I trade the Elan's two power points for one point of essentia? It is effectively trading the psionic talent feat for the bonus essentia feat. Could probably explain it by saying Elan with this change are a new anomaly occurring in the conversion process. Yes I know, I could just play an Azurin, but an Elan sounds so much better for this game.

Stormcrow: given that Secret Page basically turns my spellbook into awesomesauce (I forget where this is, but I know Frank and K or someone else did a small article on this) AND because Janus has spent his whole life training with White Gyphon/Shadow Core black ops, can he have access to some more spells? Keep in mind, he is a Focused Specialist and has banned evocation, necromancy, and enchantment. I would just like to round out his spellbook a little more with some spells. I can even run my spell list by you, if you would like.

Also, for Spontaneous Divination: do I only get to spontaneously cast divinations from my spell book or any divinations on the wizard/sorcerer spell list?

OOC-well for that matter he could just ride on my sword, that's about 15' ;)

wait, this hasn't started yet? In that case, is there room for one more?

He didn't mean the ghost template, he meant switching the  Elan's bonus power points for an incarnum feat. Instead of saying spirit elan, maybe he should have said something like incarnum-touched elan, or used one of the common descriptors like "midnight", "cobalt", "soul-[anything]", etc.

Regardless, I'd suggest giving them a bonus point of essentia over an actual incarnum feat, in replacement of the power points. But that's just me.

Elans are from XPH (Expanded Psionics Handbook) pg 9, Incarnum is from the book Magic of Incarnum.

so...yes, Late joining is a possibility? Could Stormcrow confirm this, since s/he's the GM/DM?

Good point I used the wrong thing to describe it, first thing that popped in. I wasn't looking for a feat; I was more trying to show that both bonuses were roughly equal. As said before Elans are page 9 of XPH, Psionic Talent is on page 50; Bonus Essentia is on page 35 of Magic of Incarnium. Just the basic feats by themselves, no outside influence.

aight then, I think I'm going something like warblade//caster. How important are stealth abilities going to be in this campaign? I need to know whether or not to pick up hide/movesilently or something so that I don't screw everyone's stealth over with constant clanking of armor, whether or not I have low check penalty. Also, is generic spellcaster (unearthed arcana) allowed? it could remove both obstructions...possibly.

if i could recomend warblade //prism is a good combo to look at as for general spell casting your call , as for stealth there is one thing about large partys is that you can devide in to sub groups doing diffrent jobs like one team goes in the others make a lot of noise, just try to think like a scoundral. it will help .

I am thinking Psion, with the bonus of Int for both classes.
