Ya my post came off wrong.

I was thinking you (Hallak) and Solah and myself were the ones who talked about the details of LA, since all of us now have it figured out, and Stormcrow agreed that's how he thought it worked, I assumed we were all agreed. (EDIT, In review I missed Mans0011)

Also I thought when Stormcrow said that is how he thought it should work, I read that as 'GO with this'. So...

Stormcrow, is LA back in, as described (Subject to the limitations you have previously stated)?

Alright!

Now that I think we have build rules polished off, how about items? Are we allowed to make custom items?
"You think I'm talking about breaking the rules?"
"No I'm just trying to figure out how far you want them bent."

Stormcrow do you just want us to expound upon our BackGround stories on the Mythweaver character sheets?

So LargePrime, I'm trying to write you into Aullara's backstory but I don't really know anything about your character. I don't even think you mentioned your character's name. :P

Sil MacJackson
It was on my sheet link, that is all screwed.

He runs a quiet little magic shop in White Gryphon, (by appointment only, mostly) and secretly does odd jobs for the shadow core.

I wish I had more background to sink my teeth into.

Is the Faerie Court a part of this world, or part of a different plane altogether? Does it even exist? I have part of my background revolving around being Unseelie (not the template, mind you, just the background fluff) fey, but growing bored of court politics and the like. Of course, leaving the relative safety of her home, she was open to the real dangers of the world, and had to adapt fast, including making friends/allies. That's where Sil would come in.

I think that's for you to decide, haha.
Though, Aullara isn't good-aligned. :D

To be specific, she's CN.

Doing my history now, since it's based on Dresden I'm kind of inventing a widespread council of psions that police arcane caster/psionic activity (the church can handle the damned religious folk!  :p) Called the White Council. They are sort of self appointed as a magic-leaders party, with their enforcement being the Gray Wardens (gray as in their cloak's color) who act as judge, jury, and executioner for magical/psionic deviants. Basically, they want to enforce proper, responsible power use, and are more than willing to behead anyone who breaks their few simple laws (which are kinda more groundrules...). I dun suppose there's a similar party in existence, no? If you need me to hammer out details with you to make it work, please PM me, cause I'd me more than willing to help.

I want it all :P

Lets see, more info on how the Shadow Core operates/organizes/recruits would probably be helpful for building backgrounds consistent with the world especially if many are wanting to write each others characters into their backgrounds.

So far I have kept my background nice but fairly bare bones so as to not be inconsistent with your world.  As I learn more I can expand it.

What he said.  The more I have the more I can do.
If you have a bunch of background stuff to dump on us, do that.
Flay Crimsonwind, it seems, is just inventing some parts of your world.  If that works for you I guess we could try that, subject to your review.

lets see were to start I will add the white Council as a part of the mages guild in white gryphon going by the outline you gave,  there is a minor change what they white council only charges and brings them in the overall Council is the one to decide the overall fate of the accused as there  Juge and jurry .

as for more info on the Shadow Core or 1st Legion

Operates as the covert operations regiment in there army , doing intelligence  / counter , as well as assassination , sabotage and almost the equivalent to the British MI 6 or American CIA, as for how they operate how the job is done nothing is forbidden so long as there is expectable results,
in any theatre of operation there is always a spymaster running over all command of the operations and his attendant staff, then there is the agents that do the operations and sending reports to the attendant staff.
Recruitment : over all Recruitment varies for Agent to agent to agent for mages they are selected for the apprentices of the mages council and given specialist training for the types of operations  well others are recruited for the military based on  there records

As well in cases of extreme risk of losing an agent there are specialists that are recruited for men awaiting execution and given a choice to  do the mission were they might be killed or be executed were they will be killed (review the movie the dirty dozen) note none of your characters are in this category

after the agent is selected  they are sent of training  at a undisclosed location you are given you first mission most cases it is just fallowing the instructions to get to you first theatre of operations (were our campaign takes place.
