Okay, new one:)

Q153: Is there a way that specifically allows you to shrink an item one size category?

Isn't there a Shrink Item/Object spell somewhere? If not, PAO works  :D

Q154: Are there any feats that can be used in conjunction with Woodland Archer(pg154 ROTW), or stand alone to reduce the -20 to hide after shooting?

A154
Able Sniper from RotW gives you a +4 to the hide check (prereq -- hide 5 , dex 13+)
Concealed Ambush from drag.mag. #339 reduced the penalty from -20 to -10 (prereq -- point blank shot , precise shot , hide 10 , move silent 10).

If you stop ignoring 289 pages telling what the intent is to stretch "more power" in your own god complexion of your interpretation trumps all to cover ability adjustments from aging then I will ignore a quarter page of rules that exist within a sidebar.
I think in this case the grammar is less important than whether the Str and Dex bonus provided to your created undead scales.

Q 144 Can someone explain to me how it's possible that the Glove of Storing is 10k, and the Glove of the Master Strategist is only 3600 when it's a Glove of Storing with True Strike 1/day? They both use CL 6th, Craft Wondrous Item, and shrink item. The GotMS has True Strike added to it. And they're both just a single glove. Was 3.0 item making that huge of a difference from the 3.5 version?
The 3.0 DMG/SRD has the "correctly" priced glove of storing.  However, at the time of 3.5's advent, the designers felt that it's pricing was too cheap for effectively granting you quick draw, so they arbitrarily increased its price as though it were granting you the quick draw feat.
The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist.

That's how that worked. Got it. I just looked it up, and it's actually worth only 2200 gp. Thanks.

Q 155 What's the best way to get around DMs who make you pay for every single possible spell component imaginable, but don't give you the gold to buy them? Any boxes of unlimited spell components?

Spell Component Pouch. Costs 5g. It's in the PHB.

Or Eschew Materials.

I assume you're talking about costly material components, correct?

I think there's some sort of underdark metal ore omnicomponent that has a 25% markup, but can be used for anything.

Eschew Materials sadly only helps with spell components that are less than 1 g. I thought that the Spell Component Pouch just gave you something to store them all in.

Pretty much, yeah. Like pearls, silver dust that costs 25-100 gold, etc.

Well the problem is that the DM is making us pay for everything, and we can't afford the pearls we need for the identify spells that we have to do each time we get an item like bracers, or special armors and weapons. And we're literally not getting the wealth. I figured it out that he's purposely using the NPC WBL chart for the PCs, and we're barely able to afford staying in an inn (which we choose to do now because otherwise we get a constant ambush). The wizard is getting tired of not being able to properly prepare his spells because he doesn't have the components. The ranger tries to do decent survival checks to get the basic ones (owl feathers, bat dung, bat fur, etc), but we're in a region where that's all but impossible it would seem.

Or become a tainted scholar and use your blood for the component.
He's not allowing that.

A155:

A cleric with the Magic domain can cast identify without a material component. So can a cloistered cleric.

He's not allowing that.

Its in cases like this when a DM is purposely being a (insert explicit here) where casters are concerned, he gets a caster that commits suicide in a very flavorful manner :smirk, and the next time I'm 'allowed' to bring a character, he'll get an Orc/Halforc(mainly for the feat that bumps will save) barbarian/fighter/FB that leaps and pounces with supreme power attack, ofc with all the nice annoyances like air walk, twisted charge etc, and to top it off over sized, two handed, reach weapons with combat brute, shock trooper goodness. Only 'component' that you'll need then is a weapon, and with your strength, that can be a party member :lmao.

A155: Hit the DM on the head with Rules Compendium.
He'd probably use the rule where any rule that's been written, can be changed by the DM if he so feels the need to. He'll ask us each "Do you have the materials to use that spell? No? Then you don't have it memorized."

I don't know what that FB is, if it's a prestige, you wouldn't have it. He's currently not allowing them in his campaign (he's still debating letting me to Radiant Servant of Pelor). Regardless, we're not at that level yet. As for being two base classes, he'd allow it so long as you stated at the beginning that that's what you wanted to be, and not just taking those classes for the sake of taking them (for extra feats).

your DM is a cunt (what else is new?).  go pick up eschew materials.  use TK or mage hand to rob a jewelery store.

That's what I told the wizard, but the DM reminded us that it's only good for components less than 1 gp. He'll take it at 6th level when he gets a bonus feat. But since he's "good" there'll be no robbing a store though unless we actually want him to perform the TPK he's been threatening us with for a while.

find thieves who have robbed or will rob (wether through their own choice or not) a jewelery store, and kick their asses. return 90% of jewelery to store, whilst claiming your 10% finder's fee.
