Repo: The Grafting Opera

What if there was a 3.5e campaign... where you are a repo man, tasked with repossessing grafts from freebooting chumps who refuse to pay for them?

WHAT SAY YOU TO THIS?

"I am the Black Mage! I cast the spells that makes the peoples fall down!"

The Legend RPG, which I worked on and encourage you to read.

Heh, someone else has seen the awesome that is Repo.

Honestly, the easiest way to handle it is by reflavoring magic items. The more entertaining way is to use a reflavored Incarnate or some such, as Soulmelds can't be stolen (thus the players have no reason to keep harvested organs; they end up better off returning them to the GeneCo equivalent and getting paid).

it reminds me of my old campaign idea Graftpunk, a fantasy version of Cyberpunk. Could use the same world. Anyone know what happened to the old Wizards boards stuff? I could look up the archived thread...

Actually, this is brilliant, not only with grafts but with magic items. Think of how difficult it might be to get the guy who wont pay for his super-killer sword, spell-caster's rod, or movement-improving (dimension door and such) amulet. Grafts are nice because you actually have to nail them down. Honestly, magic repo-men sounds like it could have a goodly number of "quests".... if I wasn't so busy, I'd totally start writing this campaign...
