Amazing Super Powers
« on: March 05, 2010, 05:55:17 PM »
So, does anyone else read this web comic?  I find their odd, dark humor quite funny.  Also, note that each comic has an alt text (like XKCD), and the newer ones have a "secret" alt comic, which you can find by clicking the hidden ? button to the upper right of the comic (which appears when you hover your mouse over it).

Some of my favorites:
Weird drug dealer
Time Machine
Locksmith
Snowball
See crime everywhere

And probably my all time favorite:
Aw nuts

So, has anyone else even heard of this webcomic?  No one else is saying anything.  I also have no idea how popular this comic is.  I'm assuming it's nowhere near XKCD or PennyArcade.

Yeah, I hadn't heard of this ever until I saw this thread. I think it would've at least sounded familiar if I'd seen it mentioned somewhere. The comics I've seen of it are funny, but right now I lack the time and dedication to go on an archive binge. Maybe when the school year's over.
Does the comic have a forum? You should be able to get some idea of its popularity from that. (Though obviously, not all or even the majority of readers post on a forum.)

I was thinking about searching for a forum, but I haven't had the free time (well, sort of).  I've seen pictures of these guys at conventions, but that just means they go to conventions. ;)

I did enjoy the first part but school tends to take up most of my time nowadays so I'm fairly slow at picking up new web comics.

The comic hasn't been as funny lately, but something about the imagery of the last panel cracked me up.  I think it was the lap dance.

Also, the alt comic was funny in an odd way.
