It might be worth it.
I can't find a formula from WotC anywhere. However the Psychic generator (MoE) is a slot-less warforged component that give 1 point per day for 2500.
If you can play as a warforged (ECS), take the psiforged (MoE) feat and load up on these. for the cost of the 43 point ring you get 100 points and don't spend one ring slot. for the cost of the 147 point ring you get 324 points.
