Google "barb of the mind".

....mind poison's save DC is 10+casting stat+ ONE HALF FUCKING CASTER LEVEL!

another good spell to put on my arcane dilliante's list, then. wee, enjoy your DC 51+my int/cha save.

It's the same for a regular Poison spell.

the hell is wizards thinking? aren't save-or-be-fucked spells strong enough as is? do we really need a way to instagib people with third level spells? oh wait, we already have one... it's called slow. goddamn wizards.

Well, for more 'normal' casters, these are basically auto-heightened. For casters with caster levels far greater than their character levels...

Well, after all that looking, thinking, and asking for input I have settled upon that awesomeness known as Spell Focus (Enchantment).

I'd been avoiding looking into the AEG Feat book though it is allowed and though I knew there was awesomeness contained therein.

But, in a desire to play my Beguiler as pure as possible in this campaign the Spirit Song feat in that book is likely my best choice.

Can't take it until 7th level but it will let my Mind Affecting spells affect Undead!!!!

(Thanks BK for allowing it)

Nope, it is Spirit Song, not the Dragon feat.  It is from the FEATS book published by AEG (3.0 product)

Has Spell Focus (Enchantment) and 7th level as prereqs.
