Bladed Gauntlets are also in 3.0's Sword and Fist. Complete Champion has the Mythic Exemplar prc. One of the heroes you channel allow you to increase your threat range for a bit iirc.
This is johnboy069 and toryn from the wizards boards:)

The 3.0 S&F had the stats I quoted if their nerfed in A&E that's just silly cause then their just a rapier you have to spend a feat on. Do 3.0 books actually trump each other?

Wow I just googled the eratta it's nerfed to 19-20. Why?!?! now it's an exotic short sword with literally no benifits I'm not sure but I think it might even be slash rather than slash/pierce so it's inferior to it's closest phb cousin.

Why couldn't it be nerfed to 18-20 and have it spelled out in rules that you can't be disarmed.  :banghead more wasted ink from WotC.

Shortswords are only Piercing, but I agree with you on the other parts.
I am constantly amazed by how many DM's ban Tomb of Battle.  The book doesn't even exist!

Why would you even do this? It hurts my eyes and looks like you ate your keyboard before suffering an attack of explosive diarrhea.

WotC tends to go overboard when they nerf something, making it go from overpowered to useless. There are many examples of this...

Don't we know it. Then they have absolute fuck ups, like Tome of Battle.

Check out the Greathammer in MMIV pg 101.  It does 1d12 19-20/x4 damage.

The errata on ToB stops and becomes Complete Mage errata literally in mid-sentence.

Oh yeah, that was awesome. I thought you meant the ToB itself. The errata was awesome, though. It was like a really short mystery novel.

yeah, I had to look it up myself. thats just fucked up.  why can't WotC support anything good? I mean, they kept spewing out worthless fighter feats til the very end, and continued to make spells that were either useless or abuseable... but no support for fun things.

What a great find! Add a few feats to increase the threat range on that and I think it's WIN!
