Ris-Janna looks up at her target, now obscured again by the darkness and rain, as she recieves the magic of Xuuvosic's minion and Raoul. She imagines herself looking down at the figure instead, and swiftly finds her body following suit, now hovering above the electrifying attacker. The darkness sure is nice - one would have to look for a spot without shadows rather than the other way. She doesn't want to be turned into a pink bunny, but she'll have to look into how to do that 'sinking the sun' thing if and wehn she returns to the past.

[spoiler]Now that I'm fully buffed, Dimension Door some 400 feet up, as close to the guy as I can get.

Let me know if the guy has Blindsight or something and you need stealth skills.[/spoiler]

You appear directly above the figure, and can see that he appears to be made of living wood, and that his armor is made of leaves that seem to have sprouted roots that have burrowed into his flesh. Both he and the armor have pale spots on them, though, as if they are slowing losing their green color. Then the wild cyclone whipping around him begin to blow you away, although as far as you can tell it doesn't so much as ruffle his cloak. [spoiler]Make a fortitude save, please. :D We'll just keep your original stealth rolls for now, if that's ok with you.[/spoiler]

You draw deeply upon the magic that keeps you aloft and resist the wind that tries to thrust you away. The figure does not appear to notice you, even though you're close enough to reach out and touch it. You can see that it has delicate protrusions sticking out from its ears that look like small roots, and they seem to twitch frequently as the figure turns its head back and forth looking down towards where your companions are enveloped in darkness.

Marlowe and the rest of X's crew are up (but I think they're jumping into the pit, so just Marlowe. Then it's the top of the round again, and Mr. Treebeard's turn. :P ).

Marlowe quickly dives into some nearby brush after the first lightning bolt, trying hard to elude notice as he slips towards the mouth of the pit.

And somehow they're exactly the same :P

If I can reach the pit in a single move action, I'll climb inside. Otherwise, Marlowe readies an action to shoot our newest acquaintance if he tries casting any spells. (Assuming I can do that without making a Spellcraft check...)[/spoiler]

[spoiler]I think that's right.[/spoiler]The storm's fury rises with the flying being's anger, and his voice booms out above it saying "You think you can hide from my wrath so easily? I will destroy you!"

Ris-Janna sees the figure rapidly drop towards the ground where her friends are, and Xuuvosic and Raoul hear the winds around them pick up to incredible speeds, tearing at their flesh and threatening to deafen them and overwhelm their senses entirely.

[spoiler]Raoul and Xuuvosic need to make a Fort saves, DC 21. You take 2d6=8 sonic damage on a fail and are deafened and stunned. If you succeed, you only take 4 and are neither deafened nor stunned. The figure is no longer in your line of sight, R-J.

And... since everyone else is in the pit, and I assume are waiting, I guess it is back to R-J, Raoul, and Xuuvosic.[/spoiler]

To those that went into the pit:

The stench of burnt goblin flesh and smoke in the pit is almost unbearable, and the scaffolding you saw earlier inside the pit is mostly burned away. What little is left fell down into the bottom of it when Cade entered and pushed it aside. You can still hear moans from goblins that aren't quite dead yet somewhere down in the pile of goblin corpses and rubble at the bottom of the pit.

[spoiler]Move: Moving in the general direction the tree-guy got away to until she sees him and/or comes adjacent to him again. IIRC, Raoul got a doubling on his spell effect, so Janna's speed it 120 ft.?

Anyway, I think a new one is probably called for, since hiding in mid-air while flying around is quite different than hiding in undergrowth on the ground. :P

Catching up to her prey, Ris-Janna wreathes her daggers in shadows before slashing at the tree-thing, using her best judgement to pick seemingly vulnerable spots to attack. As the blades impact, the shadows sear the wood, and Ris-Janna smiles at the tree-man as the becomes visible again. "Let's dance."

1d20+29-5+20=56 The extra +20 is from being invisible.
And a Move Silently; the penlaty is negated by Gray "spidersilk" armor's ability.
Move Silently (1d20+31=44)

Swift action: Activate Burning Blade for +1d6+IL(4) fire damage on my attacks this turn.

Standard action: Attack! The rolls assume he's a plant creature and thus immune to critical hits, so she won't get a +2 to hit from Deathly Precision, and that he's not flat-footed, having seen her before she hid. If he is flat-footed, add +8 damage per attack. The first attack is made with piercing damage, the second with slashing damage (or piercing as well if piercing dealt full damage), in case he's got DR. :D Full Power Attack.
Attack: +6 BAB, +8 Dex, -1 UA, +1 WF, +3 Enhancement, -6 PA; Damage: +3 Enhancement, +12 PA, +3d6 SA, +1d6+4 fire. (1d20+19-6=21, 1d4+15+3d6+1d6+4=32, 1d20+19-6=31, 1d4+15+3d6+1d6+4=29)
EDIT: They should be at +2 due to Invis, though. Oops.

Erm, oops. Forgot to make only one roll after the double-roll for attacks and damage. Just take whichever you like better. :P
