Lifting off from the Half Giant's shoulder, Saru makes flight south. Mid-air he shifts to his draconic form long enough to shout, "Three more up ahead! in the trees!" He shifts back to a hawk and ends his flight on a branch in the trees. Shifting into his draconic form he lets out a breath of clinging ice on the Hobgoblin. He shifts to macaque form, to hold himself in the tree.
Move action: D4 -> D11
Standard action: Breath at F12! 1/2*(4d8+4) Cold, DC 23 for half
Power Surged Clinging Entangling Exhaustion coming from Dragonborn weapon
If he takes damage the cold clings to him, causing him to take Half the damage again on my next turn.
If he takes damage he is entangled for 3 rounds and takes 1d6 damage again on my next turn.

Recharge (1d4+3=5), Entangled for (1d4=3), Initial Cold Damage (4d8+4=17)

Next round he takes 8+1d6 cold damage. (if he saves initially  he takes 4+1d6)

Up Ahead means F12 and J14 and P10.
The Hobgoblin screams in pain as the sudden flashfrost of the Dragonborn's breath washes over him. He tries to avoid some of the blast, but the platform he's standing on is too small for him to succesfully avoid it. As he looks down his eyes widen in fear as he notices his steel boots have practically frozen to the wooden platform, making it even harder for him to move.

OOC:
Ref: 15, so the hobgoblin takes full damage (17), and is Entangled for 3 rounds.

Just as Saru had given his warning to his teammates, 3 Archers, sitting on makeshift platforms in the trees some 25 ft. up, unleash a volley of arrows upon the party. The one flashfrozen by the shapeshifter had great trouble aligning his shots, but the other two were in no such way impeded.

Saru: Even though the Hobgoblin has trouble aligning his shots, he still manages to strike true with one of his arrows. You take 12 points of damage

One of his allies from across the road (RA3) comes to the frozen Hobgoblin's aid and unleashes even more arrows upon you. Both of these manage to hit you. You take another 26 points of damage (total damage so far 38).

Colonel Harika: You're being pelted with arrows from a position high up on the far side of the road (RA2). Even through the added protection of the foliage surrounding you, you take 2 arrows to the back. You take 17 and 12 damage, after factoring in DR, that becomes 9 and 4 for a total of 13 points of damage.

Saru shouts his warning just in time, allowing Harika to whirl around and swing her sword at the incoming projectiles. However, the arrows come from her blind side, and so her swing is off, allowing the arrows to hit her side and draw blood - though less than they probably should have.
The archers on the other side are out of reach, so there's little she can do about them. Saru will probably take care of them. In the meantime... "Tell that goddess of yours I said hi," the colonel simply tells the hobgoblin in a condescending tone as she turns back to him and raises her sword to deliver the next blow.
Immediate action: Wall of Blades against one of the arrows. Not that it matters, since I got a natch one anyway.
Wall of Blades (1d20+9+1=11)

Standard action: Attack RW2. Just a regular, no-frills attack.
Attack, damage (1d20+9+1=18, 3d6+7=13)
I'm almost certain that won't hit, so here's an action point.
AP (1d6=5)
So the attack hits AC 23.

Move action: If the hobbo died, move to M6. Otherwise, Tumble to L6.
(Tumble (1d20+9=14))

Combat Stats
Hit Dice: 4d12+16

Flatfooted AC: 18

Yamanu lurks forward down the trail, looking up at the newly revealed foes. After about 20 feet, he instantly vanishes, appearing in the trees behind one of the archers, and hoping to take him by surprise.
Move 20 ft down the path, then use Shadow Jaunt as a std. action, landing in square J15. If I can, I'd like to hide given the cover/concealment.
If possible, then:
Hide: 1d20(19)+18=37
Move Silently: 1d20(11)+18=29

I'm starting to regret not taking Far Shot already, or I'd have just attacked. :P
As the Colonel brings down her sword, the enemy barely manages to dodge her blow. As she makes her retreat, the Hobgoblin lunges at her with his sword but his reach ends up too short, she was already too far away.

OOC:
The Colonel ends up in L6.
Yamanu manages to sneak away and use his supernatural abilities to vanish in the trees.

OOC:
Yamanu is currently hidden at J15.
The Hobgoblin to the north of the Colonel draws his shield for extra protection and lunges at her with his sword one more time. He seems to be weakened by his wounds though and Harika easily manages to avoid his blade.

The other Hobgoblin drops his bow and draws his sword, gripping it in two hands before making his way over to the Karrnathi soldier, displaying a toothy grin. Unlike the other goblinoid, this one manages to hit the Colonel, but he somehow still fails to draw blood.

OOC:
8 damage, so after DR that's 0.
Apparently drawn out by the sound of battle, a fierce looking Hobgoblin warrior (BB) appears on the path, having emerged from the old farmhouse. Two big brown mean looking hounds (HH)

Quite shaken by the barrage of arrows, Saru is frightened. He is not used to combat and doesn't understand the intricacies. He is, however, quite happy with his flashfreeze of the hobgoblin below him. He has been trying really hard to impress his newfound friends but is rather self concious about his abilities. "hey guys! look what I did!" he says after shifting into draconic form. From his mouth spews a line of white hot magma, hitting both the frozen foe and the one threatening his dwarven brother.

Feeling too threated in his current position, Saru moves south to hide behind the wall.
Standard Action: Power Surged Fire Breath! in 30ft line hitting RA1 and RA2.
      Reflex DC23 for half.
      5d6+5=22 Fire damage.
If I need to adjust 5ft or so to make the line then it could just be a part of an awkward Flyby Attack

Move Action: Shift to hawk form and move to B16, landing on the ground in Hawk Form.

RA1 takes 1d6+8=9 cold damage from last turn.
4 rounds left on Db recharge.
2 rounds left on entangle.

this is done under the assumption that the rubble is a wall of some sorts that will provide total cover from some of the enemies. if is incorrect I'd like to revise.
OOC:
Unfortunately a 30-ft. line comes up short 1 square to hit RA2, so you'll only hit RA1. Forgot about your Flyby Attack :)
As another breath weapon originates from the shapeshifting Dragonborn, a line of whitehot magma this time, the Archer in front of Saru screams out in agony as his last bit of life literally burns away and he crumples to the floor.

The other archer targeted by Saru looks on in fear as the stream burns its way through the foliage, and screams in agony as the magma reaches him and burns his flesh.

OOC:
Not even going to roll a Ref save, RA1 only had 2 HP left, so he's dead as a Dodo anyway ;)

Ref save for RA2 is 24, so he takes 11 points of damage.

The rubble on the ground next to the old farmhouse will provide you with normal cover, and the actual walls of the building will allow you to hide/block line of effect completely. In other words, if you move to B16 no enemy (that you know of ;)) will have line of effect to you
RA1 is dead

Both of the remaining archers fire a volley on the Colonel, trying to help their comrades.

The archer next to Yamanu is still blissfully unaware of the threat of the jackal-man.

The foliage protects her from one of the arrows, but Harika still gets struck by 3 more. Luckily her fortified body is able to shrug of some of the damage.

OOC:
3 hits; 8, 15 and 11 damage; so after DR that leaves a total of 10 points of damage
Up next, Phaedrus,
followed by Nanshork :)

I'll update the map after you two are done.

Kalal spurs his mount to J/K 6/7, and says "gods damned archers", and then casts Obscuring Mist.
Can I draw my weapon as my mount moves?

Concentration check to cast defensively 1d20+12=29
Conc. check because mount double moved: 1d20+12=32
Ride check (if needed): 1d20+6=12
Burn action point if needed for Ride check: 1d6=6

Yes, you can draw your weapon.

Ride check not needed this round (not in battle yet), so no AP spent. Next round you'll need to make a DC20 Ride check to control your mount though (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/ride.htm, see Control Mount in Battle).

Defensive casting succesful.
Mounted casting succesful.
A misty vapor arises around Kalal, engulfing Harika and the two Hobgoblins as well.

Goldflower trots her horse closer to the big man and his dogs.  Looking at him he says, "Now now, bad boys must be punished."  She then casts a spell, summoning a large demon in front of the man and orders gutterally in Abyssal, "Teach him some manners."

The demon obliges.
Moving to I9.  Summoning Nashrou so that it is in square O15.
Listen: 1d20(16)+15= 31
Knowing that something is approaching up the road, Yamanu decides to wait for it to show itself rather than give away his position by yelling to the others. He also knows he needs to thin the ranks of their enemies or they could soon be overwhelmed.

The Jackal looses a volley of death-razors at his foes.
Full attack - Ranged, vs. RA2 then RA3 if RA2 falls
1d20(15)+7=22
1d20(19)+6=25*
1d20(12)+6=18

*Critical Threat: 1d20(4)+6=10
Regular attack, auto hit

Third attack takes -2 if against RA3, probably misses but still denied dex (I believe)

If RA2 falls, Yamanu will take a 5-ft step to K14 to take further attacks.

Potential Damage:
Attack 1: 1d4(2)+2d6(2,5)+13=22
Attack 2: 1d3(2)+2d6(5,3)+10=20
Attack 3: 1d3(2)+2d6(1,5)+10=18

Once attacks are done, Hide/MS
Hide: 1d20(19)+18=37
MS: 1d20(5)+18=23

Hearing the newcomer shout his challenge, Harika's smile grows hungry and just a ltitle bit scary. "Heh. That one's more interesting than these choirboys. Let's get done here and play with him a little." With that, the one-eyed colonel swings her sword in a dangerous half-arc, dragging a shower of sparks behind it through the foilage. Though both opponents manage to dodge it, the colonel makes use of the momentum to make a full circle out of the arc and execute another blow against the more wounded hobgoblin before assuming a slightly more defensive stance. Then, she nimbly moves deeper into the foilage.
Standard action: Steelwin d against RW2 and RW3.
Steel Wind (1d20+9+1=14, 3d6+7=19, 1d20+9+1=18, 3d6+7=19)

Going to schance a guess that those two miss, so she'll spend her last two AP for another Standard action.
