Updated the demon's stats with the damage from the hellhounds.  I can summon them, I know what they are.   :P

Okay, just found out I made a boo-boo.

Apparently there are 2 sections in the book talking about the terrain in this encounter. While one says that simply being in the forested terrain grants both cover and concealment, the other says you only get cover if you're in the same square as a tree (as in, the treetrunks depicted on the map).

I'm going to go with the second ruling because frankly I felt the first one was a tad retarded anyway.

The good news though, is that I don't have to make any further edits, since all your previous attacks wouldn't have hit their normal AC anyway, or were negated by concealment the one time it did hit :)

Sorry about any confusion, guys :embarrassed:

Thanks. And sorry for the trouble. It's hard to keep up with bonuses from other people's stuff. :P

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.

Agreed.  I'm just assuming that my demon is too far away until told otherwise.   :p

Got a question for you guys. How is communication handled between a Summoned Monster and the caster that Summoned it?

As in, if the critter were to detect something that the caster doesn't know about, would it tell the caster automatically, or only if explicitely told to tell caster about that kind of thing?

I think that's more up to you honestly, there aren't really any rules about it.

It would probably depend on the summoned creature, and the caster. I don't think anything says that they are required to always act in their summoner's best interest. They just obey orders.

But yeah, I don't remember seeing this actually covered by the rules anywhere. There might be something in one of the "Fiend" books.

I didn't think abut that.  I'll check when I get home from work in half an hour.

In that case I'm going with the 'strictly following orders' option, thanks for looking it up :)

Hey Bowen, did you forget my name and label me as Sunflower?

And a random question for everybody.  Is it worth a feat and a class level to dip into Mindbender for telepathy?
