All I need left is gear and fluff, and it isn't as if we have a lot of money to work with.   :P

I should be done soon.
Same here.

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

I'll finish updating my sheet later today, but I don't think I need to change my equipment at all (unless anyone can see any issues with that). There's always a bunch of gear I'd love to have, but hopefully I'll pick some of it up sooner or later. :)

Beyond that, I didn't have to change much. I'll make the necessary alterations to my change once I get home from classes.

I delivered my paper yesterday. I felt like being a smartass and titled it "What I want to be when I grow up". :P
Now I need to do a book review for German class, after that I can get to work on finalizing my sheet. :P
It's all about vision and making reality conform to your vision. By dropping a fucking house on it.

So I take it you're going with the Dwarf, Phaedrus? :)

Yeah. Alas poor Flumph, we barely knew him. :D

Also, I'll have Shield Other on Goldflower all the time except when we're sleeping. So that's a +1 deflection bonus to AC and a +1 resistance bonus on saves for her, but I have to stay within 35 feet of her or the spell ends.

He'll also be in the Iron Guard's Glare stance at all times, since that's the only one he knows and there is no reason for him not to be. So enemies that I threaten (10 ft reach) have a -4 to hit any of my team mates, but no penalty to attack Kalal. Attackers instinctively know this (for some reason...). He'll try to stay adjacent to Goldflower unless/until combat breaks out.

Also, I realize that we're assuming that we all at least know each other, and are traveling together, but should we say that Yamanu and Kalal have known each other longer? Maybe Yamanu helped Kalal make his way out of the desert (Burning Wastes) after he escaped his Rakshasa overlord(s)? Want to come up with stories of how all of us met?

And... I ran short of money and had to get rid of the Wand of No Light. I can prep one or two per day, though.

I'm still coming up with my backstory myself, I just love how Kalal is so protective of me.  Is the Dwarf in love with the Half-Giantess?   :P

Very funny. He's just that kind of guy. He thinks of it as his job to protect those that are more "frail" than himself. I just hope we don't both get hit with a Fireball... that will hurt with that Shield Other up...

If you can cover the MM Rod... I might buy a camel, and I'll also get a Healing Belt. I thought a camel would make a "cool" mount for a desert dwarf, and he could use one due to his crappy speed. I don't know what they'd cost, though. What about the same as a mule, Bowen? Or are they priced in Sandstorm?

According to Sandstorm a Two-humped Camel costs 100 gp, while a Dromedary Camel costs 75 gp.
A War Camel costs 450 gp.

Ah screw it. I don't have Sandstorm handy, and so can't look up the stats. I'll just start without a mount and maybe buy one later if I think I need it. I think I'm ready to go.

For what it counts, camel. Sandstorm only prices them.

K. I think I'll just get the cheap one, and a Healing Belt. The damned thing will probably die immediately, anyway. :P

Ah screw it. I just went with a mule. More hit points for less money. I'll just call it Camel. (WOOOAAAH CAMEL! :D ) I did get a Healing Belt and put a few more charges on my Wand of Lesser Vigor, though.

Isn't there a khopesh that's a 1d8/18-20 weapon that works like the bastard sword/dwarven waraxe? Would it be ok if I substitute that for the dwarven waraxe racial affinity for Kalal, since he's a desert dwarf?

Only one I know of is the Khopesh in Sandstorm.
1d6, 18-20/2, One-handed, can be used to make Trip attacks.

Yeah... just found the stats to it in crystalkeep from the Arms and Equipment Guide. It was the same, but did 1d8 damage and is an exotic weapon. Why did they nerf the damage for Christ's sake? Is it a martial weapon in Sandstorm? Ah well, looks like I'll be sticking with the waraxe for now...
