It was more a comment on how the resulting arguments going to get messy.

I like Firefox.  My brother prefers Chrome, and before that Safari.  He says he likes Chrome better.

I can't be arsed to try a new browser because I'm chill with firefox.

yeah, that's pretty much how I was, until firefox crapped out on me. Figure I might as well get som opinions if I have to download something anyway.

I'd give Safari a try then.  If you have to restart, I'd go for a new one anyhow.

I've used Safari, I used to have a mac and it was the default. But I haven't used it in a long time.

I find Firefox to be the most secure.  As long as you're careful, you don't even need a firewall running.  Definitely can't say that about IE!

That only makes me want to dial into your modem and show you that you do indeed need a firewall running regardless of your internet browser.

Chrome is pretty efficient, though I liked firefox mostly because of extensions galore.

There's always Opera, which is the fastest browser due to being ridiculously tiny.

That's what I use, at least for primary browsing.

At work, I have FireFox in case I need to do javascript debugging.  I also have FireFox at home for my wife because she prefers it to Opera, and I under no circumstances want her using IE on my computer.

Unfortunately firefox has an annoying bug - it eats up memory if you let it run for a long time (overnight for example). So i use opera, which is actually like firefox with add-ons.

Opera's so ridiculously tiny it's my 'casual' portable browser.
Got a copy in a thumbdrive and all.
Granted, if I'm setting up shop on a public computer for a while I copy my whole porta-fox into the computer to get all my favorite setup.

Another +1 for Opera. My girlfriend uses Firefox because she's more used to it. I converted my arch nemesis to Opera the other day -- it has a built in torrent downloader and that sold him.

I can't begin to list the number of things wrong with IE, though from my understanding it's gotten better with 8.

Though considering what it's like, it's like saying Cania is better than Nessus.

At least it's an improvement?
