Firefly doesn't have an Archaelogist. :p
Au contraire!  :D

Paleontologists aren't Archaeologists!  You don't understand how angry it makes the Archaeologists to be confused like that, I do but that's because I used to hang out with the Archaeology Grad Students.   :P

:D I'll bet, poor buggers lol

Might have a character joining the Prologue, if not I will definitely be interested in joining the crew of the main campaign. Read through all the posts on this thread but can't keep straight who is what so can someone list again who's filling what rolls?

Well if you do join us for the main campaign i would like to tell you welcome aboard. I don't recall exactly what all we have for the modern setup I know my character sheet and at least one other for the modern game are posted in the sheets thread. My general character concept is face/leader. I plan on being capable of combat myself but most of my actions will be geared toward improving the party's effectiveness at different aspects of the game.

for my modern character he will be able to kick up the skills once we gain 1 level and i get into my advanced class. That will be enough to let anyone be a secondary of a role and make a secondary a solid primary at a skill role. So as long as my guy and one other are still standing we should be able to hit most skills required. (even if i have to aid them in patching up the guy trained at what we need)

Yeah pretty much. Not too hard to do with D20 Modern as long you have a smart hero and a couple fasts with specialized skills.
Playing Pingo, in The Artifact Prologue.

From the re-read through the posts it looks like we are still missing a ship doctor. I first thought about a straight up surgeon type. Then I was thinking dive expert/rescue swimmer. I think I will combine the two. Definitely will be former Navy. Probably starting out as a doctor but looked for something more exciting.

Probably Smart/Dedicated or something around there.

Will give a character sheet a good go soon. Now that I have a pretty good idea of what I want to play in the future I will put it down on a character sheet.

Heh, I eventually settled on an Dedicated 3 as well. Though mine is more Treat Injury focused. Here is what I have so far Ricardo "Rick" Jorge Montalvo. I was thinking of taking him into Field Medic next level.

Stachel Abendroth (aka Eisen gen 2)

I was going to remake him, since I modded this soooo long ago. But I looked at it and.... it's simply beautiful. I like it still. It's still iffy on the melee, more the shooter, but if anything I'd make him more like that anyways. I still envision him like a martial arts cowboy.

Is the Five SeveN a choice? I seem to recall it specifically being no-go'ed.

Here's the entire inspiration behind Stephen Loder's weapon choice:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=171vzYTebV8

IIRC, it's too new even for the modern campaign.  (I'm not even gonna get into how wrongly statted it is)

I'm playing the ship's captain and motivational speaker. Going into field officer ASAP in order to provide even more bonus to the group.

looking at the sheet I have too many ranks in treat injury unless I got it as a class skill somewhere and didn't mark it. NVM just looked at the wrong line.

That's fine if it's not allowed, I'll just select something else. As far as being too new for the campaign though, the main campaign is set in 2000 unless I am mistaken. FN's design process on the Five-seveN was from 1993 to 1998 and in production in 1998. Adopted into service since 2000, so it could fit. Jace has final say of course and if he said no go on it then I don't have a problem.

Swapped to a Glock 17.
