Jace you might want to also include the ammo weight form Isle Noir thread. I have it copied into sheet 2 of my character spreadsheet for those who need it before Jace adds it, assuming we have to account for the weight of ammo. If we don't then ignore my ramblings and I would like to carry about 1000 rounds for each weapon of mine  :devil .

Correcto-mundo! We indeed are counting ammo weight.

Mission
The object of your mission in the Caribbean is to locate and investigate a certain underwater boat wreck for your employer. Your team will be required to dive on the site, uncover the wreck, and recover something.

It is possible there are other forces at work here. Be careful.

I'm shifting skills around so my character has some Prof (Cook) in his list there (also, swim. Late to the party Flay is late to the party).

We start at level three then, Jace?

Ah i see why i didn't have navigate. It was a cross class skill for all of my classes. I guess i'll have to rely on having an accurate map and possibly someone else to be the navigator when we don't have a good set of directions. Even if i did devote ranks to it i wouldn't be able to get it high enough to be useful.

I've got it maxed out (cross-classed ranks for me too), but it won't be spectacular.

As far as diving gear goes, should we include it in our own individual gear, or should we draft up a list of party/ship's gear?

Yea i think a Browning M2HB would make a beautiful deck ornament  ;) Also some sort of built in navigation system like a robust gps unit. I could also see some heavy duty communication gear designed to not turn to expensive paper weights in bad weather.

Honestly i think we should have some things as a given for the ship depending on what kind it is and how big it is. Plus whatever our benefactor would have purchased as supplies they know we would have needed. Other than that i think we as a team should pool our wealth and purchase some other things we feel are important for us to have on the ship. The ship purchases wouldn't belong to any person but the ship itself and would be available for all to use. It would be a good idea to include copious amounts of food and useful equipment such as a communication system of some kind (or an upgraded one if we have a crappy one), navigation upgrade, life raft of some kind, or even some sort of hydraulics system if we don't have one.

You could mark me down as the ships doctor as well, unless someone else wants to take the role. I have the surgery feat and maxed ranks in treat injury. If someone else takes this over i can swap my one of my occupation skills to navigate and work as the navigator if RajunCajun isn't doing it, or go with something else entirely.

Nah I definitely have a +8 Navigate guys, chill brothers.

Two are always better than one (and I have 8 skill points, love you Jace for freeing up some skills!), though I kinda have no idea what skills, other than prof (chef) is needed. You deal with it Go for it, by all means! :D

So, who needs help? I could cross class some skills for something, if need be. Currently, I need to swap out my 6 skill points in prof (cook), so.... wait, is there anything we need? Have we got most things covered?

wouldn't that be just a beautiful figurehead  :D
though if we are company sponsored as Jace seems to be implying, I'm not sure they would look too kindly on a heavy machine gun sticking out the front of our boat  :)

about done with my sheet. I finally decided to make my character the grandson of my current one, though if popular opinion prefers a female captain I can run with that as well.

Jace will we need to submit our equipment to you to review in a PM or post here or is my spreadsheet good enough for you? I'm about to go back and add in where i loose wealth at for items as well.

That brings us up to three different grandson's from the original characters on one boat. What are the chances of that?  ;)

hey they families stayed in contact it is perfectly reasonable for there to be a closeness there. Especially if we are following in our ancestor's footsteps. All it takes is 1 too many nights of the kids sitting up to hear grandpa's stories for them to be hooked on doing the same thing.
