Stachel Abendroth is probably best suited to a security type. I will note that he also has 6 points in profession (chef) that are still waiting to be moved, so pilot or engineer (or hell, surgeon even) all kinda fit into his character. All I know is he's..... not quite archaeologist/scholar material. I could do it, but it might seem out of place that a guy who was a bouncer and underground boxer (still solidifying his background) took up the role of scholar on a ship...

By the by, what are the basic background ideas for the people on this ship? Did the captain just sort of cattle call, or did he hunt down the specific ancestors of the original mission? Or does Jace have something more sinister in mind?  :p Just finding a way to put him on the ship...

Also, can I just say, as far as a movie's intro flashback, that gives the audience a taste of the background before meeting the actual main characters, that's a badass way to pause it...

it's nice to be back in SOME capacity. I really hate trying to type with this phone. Ir.s very fruztratng.

Ship Roles
* Captain
* Pilot
* Engineer
* Surgeon
* Archaelogist/Scholar
* Master at Arms/Security

These are the  updated roles. Each ooof yyou , will nn we eed to pick one. :flutter
Going by those roles, my character will probably fit at least partially in the Engineer and Master at Arms/Security roles.

Wow, man, that keyboard must suck...

Anywho, then I'll probably put my six points into pilot and assist with the driving (+9 check isn't bad, right?).

I'll just see what role everybody picks and take the last one since I never fleshed out a character beyond "cook, melee specialist".

I'm built to be the Captain. I have some pilot skills as well but i believe RajunCajun was going to be the pilot but he may be fine changing that up, you would have to ask him. I also have some medical abilities, burned a feat on surgery too, but it wouldn't hurt for someone else to be capable there in case i get hurt.

oh and  :bounce the game is moving again  :bounce

Clerics and Druids are like the 4 and 2 in 42. Together they are the answer to the ultimate question in D&D.

well i don't plan on putting any more in drive, i just wanted to have the 5 ranks for synergy if needed. I think we should have at least a 2nd person capable of bandaging people up because if I go down I will need someone else capable of stopping the bleeding. Another thing to keep in mind is on gaining 4th level i'll be able to really help (+6 and growing) with most skill checks for all the characters, 1/r until lvl 7 though.

Feats compliment skills. ChaHero a must.
occupation: adventurer picked up Drive and Treat injury with it as well as fire arms prof.
Skills: Dip maxed, Intim none but will be adding to it, SM only 2 as it is CC for me, Know. I have 4 in Bus. and Civ. with 6 in Tactics.  (would you suggest moving Bus to Streetwise?), Bluff has 5 in it, Drive has 5 (not adding more unless it looks like i need it), Spot 0 it is CC too and needed points elsewhere, Nav 0 CC also, CompUse 0.
Going into Field Officer at next level
Cha 2 St 1 for current lay out.

If someone is willing to take over as the Doc i can shift some skills to get ranks in Nav and CompUse as well as free up a feat from surgery. Anyone willing to take it? As we level we should each get a couple of points into Treat Injury since the DC's are static and relatively low. That will allow any of us to stop the bleeding on the others and we can heal naturally after that if needed.
