Red Hand of Doom module
« on: January 04, 2010, 07:13:34 PM »
Back in the days on the WotC CharOp boards there was a thread that someone made looking for the lowest possible min maxed character that could solo the army at the end of the Red Hand of Doom module. Lowest entry on the board last I saw it was a level 7 warlock; did anyone ever beat that?

Very true, because otherwise you could also get something like a first level psion creating a square foot of antimatter wood and blowing up that part of the planet.

I suspect you get bonus points if you're alive at the end.

I remember the thread in question, and it had a caveat of trying to avoid shaky/abusive RAW techniques and not using infinite loops.
[Spoiler]
A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

True, that idea is mostly to illustrate what a lack of restrictions on the request could lead too. You could survive using less antimatter and having a contingent teleport crafted onto you however.
