It's understandable that they wanted the Healer to have a code of conduct -- after all, they're divine casters, and clerics, paladins, and druids have codes -- but "cannot refuse to heal a good person" is a rather annoying code of conduct to have to live with. Especially if you allow healers to be nongood like I do, or intend to have House Jorasco (which swears oaths not to heal people who don't pay in advance) use the Healer class. As such, I propose this simple replacement:
* A healer must not deal normal damage to living creatures with spells, martial weapons, or exotic weapons.
* Furthermore, a healer must not deal the killing blow to any living creature, regardless of the means.
* Finally, a healer must not use poison of any sort, and must not deal Con damage by any means.
