Also, going with your DMs in general, are you sure it's not something homebrewed?
Actually this was something a player wanted, but she doesn't remember where she saw it. So the DM said it's something she'll have to quest for once she's able to show it to him. She's fine with that, but it's starting to get to her that she just can not find this item.
Well, I honestly can't say I've ever seen such an item...
Maybe she's thinking of one of the other items mentioned? I guess it can't hurt to talk with her about it/showing her those items already mentioned...
Well, we think we may have found it. It's in one of the last dragon magazine's that had 3.5 in it, but it was after it was distributed as a magazine, and just on WotC's site, not to mention it's like an issue before they went straight to 4th. Like 154 or something. Anyways, if it's the one she was looking at, chances are she's not going to get it simply because of the fact that it's a 4th item. It's too bad, but that's how it goes sometimes. Hopefully it's not, and she was thinking of something else, but we'll see.

These totally got missed.

I didn't realize there was such a tier for PrCs.

Q 228 Question regarding wealth and NPCs levels. Found this wonderful site http://dicefreaks.superforums.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=566 and if of course lists both sets of wealth. If an NPC Fighter 4 has 3300 gold, what would a Warrior 4 have? Half because they're half the CR? The same?

Q 229 What does "Grd" and "App" stand for when it comes to NPC classes? I'm looking at a premade tournament 3-part campaign. The App has d6 with arcane spells, and the Grd has d6 as well.

Q 230 Speaking of wealth, what's the highest amount of gold any lvl 1 PC can get? What class gets it?

A230: The "Mercantile" regional feat on a OA Samurai would probably be the most you could get. (OA Samurai start with two masterwork weapons at level 1, which they really shouldn't but legally can sell.)

A230: Wizard1 with as many bonus spell options as possible.

Rip out your more interesting first levels and cantrips, then sell your spellbook.

Q231:

Is there a way for an Artificer to make a scroll of Resurrection before level 11, or any other way to effective cast it?  I couldn't find any lists with resurrection before spell level 7. : (

I'm Artificer 9, we need already have a diamond and scroll materials, buying is not an option, and we need a scroll of resurrection badly for the dead druid.

EDIT: The druid who was squished into a bloody pulp by a very angry earth elemental in the process of acquiring said diamond...

Can't you use reincarnate instead?

Hmm, that's a great idea, I completely forgot about that spell.  I'll to have to see if the Druid wants reincarnation instead.  Hopefully, the material components won't be too hard to come by.

it's cheaper and lower level.

A gygaxian dungeon is like the world's most messed up game show.

Behind door number one: INSTANT DEATH!
Behind door number 2: A magic crown!
Behind door number 3: 4d6 giant bees, and THREE HUNDRED POUNDS OF HONEY!
They don't/haven't, was the point. 3.5 is as dead as people not liking nice tits.

Sometimes, their tits (3.5) get enhancements (houserules), but that doesn't mean people don't like nice tits.

Though sometimes, the surgeon (DM) botches them pretty bad...
Best metaphor I have seen in a long time.  I give you much fu.
Three Errata for the Mage-kings under the sky,
Seven for the Barbarian-lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for Mortal Monks doomed to die,
One for the Wizard on his dark throne
In the Land of Charop where the Shadows lie.

Yeah, but it's war torn world, so buying things can be difficult.  Sorry, I should've mentioned that more explicitly earlier.

EDIT:  I'm just afraid the "rare" in the description of the material components is going to be caused it to be ix-nay'd by the DM.

EDIT2:  Oh wait, I can use Spell Storing Item to cast Reincarnate!  And, if my understanding of the infusion is correct, it doesn't need the material components of the spell you are storing, right?

ECS: Spell Storing Item:
You must provide any expensive material components or XP component the spell requires at the time you imbue it into the item.

Q232:  Can you use Bestow Curse on undead?  Beyond that, what are some typical methods for debuffing/crowd controlling undead, while still letting party members beat on them (assuming CR 13 through 18-ish here)?

I find disintegrate a good undead debuff... (being dead is bad right?)

You missed the 'while still letting party members beat on them' part.

Command Undead is spectacular against unintelligent undead.  For a second-level spell, they're yours all day, no save, though mind, one mook zombie out of twenty doesn't mean much; you need to find a pretty badass zombie to pull that one on.

Some work and Swiftblade. Abjurant Champion if you can add to your spell list. Um... that's all I got.

Q234 how do you become a demon, permanently.

I know shapechange will temporarily work. a pao / shapechange combo might (dm dependent) might make it permanent...

my thoughts are specifically about Falling. not just a blackgaurd fall, but hitting the bottom.

im afb, i assume BoVD an such may have some related material...

becoming a proper devil would work as well, but one thing at a time i suppose..

Die, go to the abyss, become a lemure, and work your way up the hierarchy. ;)
