Gotta love Roy's dad.  :lmao

At this point, I'm beginning to wonder if he's been sent to the correct plane... :twitch

I think it's got a lot more to do with his Wisdom.
The mind transcends the body.
It's also a little cold because of that.
Please get it a blanket.

I wish I could read your mind,
I can barely read mine.

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

Probably, he is a wizard after all. Wisdom is like a dump stat for a lot of 'em...

Good doesn't mean nice. Or smart, no matter how high your Intelligence was when you were alive.
I just Roy's dad doesn't consider what he saw V do as true evil, not as evil as Xykon at least, and he knows that infighting in the order just delays the slaying of Xykon, plus, it's aid in his fatherly duty of teaching Roy, by presenting a challange to over come...
A player once asked me if there was any way to make a Tarrasque more evil... 3 sessions later he was stoned with D20s as the PC led an exidus out of the path of a Dire Tarrasque of Legendary Wonder.

And this is why LG is really one of the scarier alignments. They can often find a way to justify anything, even if it's a really, really bad idea.

Gotta love subjective morality in a world where it's a semi-tangible, cosmic force.

So that's why it takes 10 minutes to cast the spell...they have to call the driver and shuttle the soul down.
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

I can agree with that.  [sarcasm]It was only 222 strips (665 to 443).  [/sarcasm] Its wierd to think that Roy was dead for almost exactly 1/3 of the strips to date.

I'm curious if he'll do anything special for strip #666 or if one of the characters will break the 4th wall and mention it.  Haley wondered why they didn't do anything special for the 100th strip.

The exact same joke was also made in strip #500. In fact, there was also a joke about how they had already done that joke 400 strips prior. Damn, the guy thinks of everything.

MitD unveiling in #666 makes tons of sense, given the most likely candidate for its identity.

Edit: Obviously, making sense to me has no bearing on Mr Burlew's artistic choices.  *mutter*

Some kind of small goof, IMO, in today's strip
Roy mentions to Haley that the Oracle got whacked - shouldn't Haley be surprised by this information?  Her memory of Sunken Valley got wiped.
Nothing special for 666.
