And oh crap, I forgot about Watchmen.  THAT could be good.

It better be!

Well, The Hulk was sold out, so I saw The Happening instead. I'd give it a solid B for a grade. It was suspenseful and interesting, but it had a lot of connections to environmental issues and whatnot. While I know those things are important, it wasn't really what I was looking for in the movie. But I won't say anything else, because it was a good movie and I'd recommend looking forward to seeing it.

There is a different thread for reviews-- this is purely what movies you're looking forward to.

I saw and reviewed The Happening in that thread.

Kung Fu Panda and Wall E look like nice little date movies. I'll probably end up seeing them.

Wanted! I am really looking forward to it. I actually read the 6 part comic the movie is loosely based on and have come to two conclusions. 1) the movie will be nothing like the comic, but will be awesome, thereby only upsetting a small subset of those that have read the comic or 2) the movie will be a lot like the comic, which will be awesome, but will shock the hell out of the large populous that hasn't read the comic.

Saw a preview for this before Wall*E and it looks pretty cute. Especially love the hamster ("Rhino").

Yeah, want to see that (Dark Knight) on Friday so bad (not badly, because I am wanting it rather effectively). I'm torn though as to when I'll see it because a friend from college (who graduated in June) is throwing a party as his apartment that evening.

If you don't party I'll disown you.

Do you mean that in a general sense (as in, if I'm not a person who parties, you will disown me) or in a specific sense (as in, if I don't go to that party, you will disown me)? I have to ask.  :couch

I saw Dark Knight yesterday in IMAX.  I brought my copy of The Watchmen to read while in line, and I didn't even remember there was supposed to be a trailer for it.  Some guy actually came up to me and said something like, "Sweet, dude; I loved that book.  You looking forward to the trailer?"  I about creamed myself (metaphorically ;)) when it came on.

Terminator 4. They've been filming parts of it here in Albuquerque. Schwarzenegger will be back, and Christian Bale will play the adult John Conner.

Edit: Ok, maybe Ahhhhnold won't be back, it seems.
