Magic Item for Wild shape

Hi,
I am currently starting to dm again and while catching up on my magic item knowledge, i remembered a forgotten realms item, that used to give a druid a higher lvl for the purpose of wild shape... Am i totally wrong or is there an item doing htat?

While I am at it is there an item doing something similar for the purpose of determining your animal companion?

Look at the "of the beast" magic item set. Complete Champion. I don't remember which item in the set gives you the wildshape level bonus, but its one of them (or maybe a combo power from a couple of them).
