Q189:Could you theoretically use Ice assassin to make AO and then fusion with it?
A189: Ao not only has no listed stats, but also likely is written as being incapable of having them.

Mystra's good enough for most things, however.

That is until Mystra or another god takes notice of you doing this and decides to intervene.

Q190 I'm a little confused on this point.  If I want to make a scroll of Harmonize (bard spell, 2nd level, RoS), is the minimum CL 4, since a bard needs to be 4th level to cast it, or CL 3?  Is there any situation in which is would be 3?

Q 152: As un-optimized as it may be compared to straight Druid, are there any decent PrC's to make a Barbarian/Druid decently viable?  Nature's Warrior is the best I can find other than Bear Warrior, and I'm specifically wanting the Druid casting and wildshape.
How about something wonky like dip rogue (or find some way to get sneak attack), dip Primeval at some point, use your wildshape to fuel primeval form, then finish off with Daggerspell Shaper.

Q191: Is there a spell that can provide a +5 (or more) bonus to crafting for multiple checks? (If it matters, I'm trying to hit the DC 20 for Create Magic Tattoo without having to burn through castings of Divine Insight/Guidance of the Avatar).

A190 You use the minimum caster level to cast the spell.  The earliest a Bard can cast second-level spells is CL4, so from a Bard, the scroll would need to be at least CL4.

However, an Archivist could learn the spell from a Divine Bard and cast is as CL3, so if you have access to an Archivist, you may be able to get it at a lower cost, depending on the details of the situation.

Hmm... I should have added that this is for my level 7 cloistered cleric/shadowcraft mage in the Way of the Wizard game. We don't have a wizard or sorcerer in the group. ;) There is a wilder, a duskblade, a beguiler, and a bard, though (and an inactive warlock). I could buy most things that are somewhat reasonable, and I have 3000 gp left, so I guess I could buy a +5 item. I'd rather find a cheaper solution, though. :P I was hoping there was a low level spell specifically made to give you a long duration crafting bonus in some book or another. Fox's Cunning will definitely help a bit, though, and the bard has Inspire Competence.

Hmm... so +2 from Fox's Cunning, +2 from Inspire Competence, and if I can get someone to use Aid Another semi-reliably, that's another +2. That with my +5 will let me hit DC 20 by taking 10, which is what I'm shooting for. So I guess maybe we can pull it off... Although... I guess I could also retrain a rank from something else into this, and not have to worry with Aid Another, also...

Magecraft gives +5, I think for the day, but that might just be for one check.

Yeah, it's only one craft check, even though the duration is a day.

Yeah, it's only one craft check, even though the duration is a day.

It is level 1, though. So it wouldn't take up slots I'd be using for Create Magic Tattoo. Now the problem is that it isn't on the cleric list... Hmm... I could swap it out with Ray of Enfeeblement on my Divine Magician spells, but that doesn't seem like a very good trade... I'd rather burn a few more skillpoints than lose that. So I guess I'll just take a few more ranks in the craft...

Edit: Just found this while digging through Crystalkeep.

Going to have to check if you need to be Exalted to cast this (my cleric is true neutral). If not, there's another +2. :D

Edit2: The Prayer spell gives a +1 Luck bonus to skill checks for its duration.

A191: In the Spell Compendium, there is a cleric spell called Wieldskill that gives a +10 comp bonus on a single skill check of your choice for 1/min per level.  You could Persist it or somethign wonky to extend the time.

I don't see that in the SC. imarvintpa lists it as in PGtF, though. Thanks. I can probably get by with no ranks with that. :D I only remembered that spell giving you weapon proficiency.

Q 192: Has WotC published any errata on the Dracolexi PrC from RotD?

I thought the draconic word list had been updated.

Q 192: Has WotC published any errata on the Dracolexi PrC from RotD?

Errata and 3.5 seem to be mortal enemies, apparently.

Consider the zeal with which corrections are being made for 4e material. Why couldn't they have done this for 3.5 as well?

I am still waiting for ToB errata myself... :(

you're kidding right, no-one at WotC wants to work on 3.5 in this economy... producing new products is profit, fixing old ones that nolonger sell is wasted spending.

Going by a previous update, it appears the designers already have prepared errata for ToB. Just that after a few lines, it was abruptly replaced with errata for complete mage. And they apparently can't even be bothered to spend a few minutes locating the appropriate file and uploading it. Even back in the heyday of 3.5, they did not bother rebalancing broken material.

And the updates seem quite extensive too. This isn't your token "1-liner" PDF. It addresses quite a number of maneuvers which I did not realise were problematic until then, and promises to correct many more.

um, there's one here -- it's been out for over a year. (granted, it's pretty basic, but it is an errata, nonetheless).  it came out the same time as the ones for Complete Champion and Complete Scoundrel.
