So who has decided what they're playing?

I'm going Cleric. Either Lockdown, ranged, or Option C...
(Option C is undecided Cleric :D)
I'm going wizard, probably generalist (yeah yeah, I know :P) so we won't be lacking anything important since the other wizard will most likely be a Focused Specialist.

Not sure on a race/templates yet, something with a good charisma though, that much is certain...

IIRC the debuffer didn't have the dexterity needed for a Lockdown build, so make of that what you will... ;) :P

True, but do we have a tank? Or ranged support? I'll likely cover whatever we're missing...

@ Tshern: This was brought up elsewhere, so I pose it here. The regional feat Otherwordly in Player's Guide to Faerun has Human/Elf/Halfings of certain regions as a requisite, can a humanoid that isn't one of those take the feat? :angel

Once I get home, I'll really look at the Spell Compendium and decide whether it'll be Transmutation or Conjuration, but it seems to me that there's already alot of buffing/debuffing going on, so Conjuration sounds the better choice.  Its not like I'm dropping Trans.  Won't know for sure till later tho-

I think I'll be leaning more towards Transmutation than Conjuration, for what it's worth ;)

A lockdown would be a decent tank, wouldn't it?? As for ranged support, I think the two arcane guys should be able to handle that. Just some observations, not trying to steer you in any particular direction ;)

Okay, so it looks like this is what we've got so far:

Irthos Levethix: Focused Specialist (either Conjuration or Transmutation)
Bowen Silverclaw: Incantatrix/Zhentarim Skymage GOD generalist (possibly with a slight focus on SoL's/SoD's)
Dictum Mortuum: Spellthief
Aftercrescent: Lockdown-Cleric or Archer-Cleric
Llyochn: Debuffer
Mister Sinister: Mounted Charger

Remains as it is.

Bowen: Mister Sinister is playing a mounted charger.

Noted and corrected :)

Quick question, since I don't have my PGtF at hand at the moment: do Lesser Planetouched qualify for the Otherworldly feat?

why don't you just buy the LA off if you want the outsider type?

I would get more out of Polymorph if I went with the LA then, huh.  Seems like that's the route to go, then.  3000xp is pretty paltry compared to that.  I'll look it up when I get home though.
Wow! So all your enemies now are not just some sucky beatsticks anymore. Polymorph makes you foes happy too.

That could get ugly, eh?

I am already planning Illumians with DMM (Heighten), Extra slot and Innate spell. Expect there to be a lot of at will 14th level spells against you.

Because I want to slap on the Phrenic template  :D

Also, Tshern, I found this race in Dragon Magazine 297 (unupdated 3.0)(it's also available at crystalkeep.com under the 3.0 section in the file marked 'Creatures'). Would you be willing to let me take this instead of Tiefling? My build-idea could really use all the help it can get in the Charisma department   :)(I figured I'd ask since you said you might accept other material than that mentioned on a case by case basis)

No, Lesser planetouched don't qualify.

Yes, you can use that.

Thank you :)

Than that will be my race, but with the Lesser Planetouched option and the Phrenic Template, so no Outsider Polymorphing ;) :P

Yes, they're races.

Lesser Cansin (race) +0 LA
Phrenic (template) +2 LA

That was the idea at least...

So you will be editing Cansin to a Lesser planetouched? I understood something wrong then.

At least I don't see where you said that...

But whatever, continue with your musings.
