I'm still persisting Consumptive Field. I considered preparing Delay Death, but there are so many good 4th level spells that it is hard to choose... If you want to prep a Consumptive Field, I can get that, though.

I could go with either one, but if you're still using consumptive, I'm not sure if I should keep Delay death. On the one hand, it's a nice save, but it's also negated when consumptive eats them anyways... It'd probably be nicer for both of us to have consumptive field, that way our enemies have double the chance to die.

After talking with SDK, I'm thinking of something for Invisibility Purge. Is anyone against that? Also, Bowen, think you can persist those two for me in the morning.

I have Invisibility Purge prepped, but don't want to persist it, as I might actually use Invisibility sometimes via a bound vestige. I guess I could stay away from you, if you persist it.

Mythweavers is doing something wonky.... I had it eat a character sheet of mine once when it was doing this...

Actually... go ahead, unless you guys plan to use something like Circle of Invisibility, or something. I won't be standing right next to you when scouting, and that's probably when I'll use that ability. That will free up a 3rd level slot for me, too.

Oh my wow, I log off for a couple hours and there's a whole new page already. I freakin love the harvesting souls thing. I don't even care about the XP for crafting, I just really want to make that my new line of work.

Did you read my character's backstory? See all those self-crafted magic items on his sheet? That basically was his line of work, prior to joining you guys.

I see Perception on Dariedor's sheet, instead of Spot/Listen. Are we using some kind of modified rules for skills?

Good luck getting the downtime for crafting all the items, I'd assume you will be busy. Very busy.

And Dispater is not a deity and thus has no favourite weapon.

Spellcraft + Psicraft
Spot + Listen = Perception
UMD + UPD
Hide + MS = Stealth

You have two abilities that can do this, it looks like (Cooperative Spellcasting and Metamagic Effect). So that should be like 21/24 left, right?

On the combined skills, how do you handle things that give a bonus to one but not the other? For example, the Eyes of the Avoral spell adds a +8 racial bonus to Spot. Would that now add to perception? Would it get the whole bonus?

If you guys want to do the crafting stuff, I can get a Dedicated Wright and leave it in the Enveloping Pit all the time crafting stuff. We could even do the cheese I mentioned earlier to speed up time (Planar Bubble of the Far Realm)... but I really don't want to see that used against us in more abusive ways (like a wizard who steps into this kind of Planar Bubble to sleep and prepare spells instantaneously...). I could actually get 8 hours of "free" time per day by abusing this with my current setup, if we could get our hands on a native of the Far Plane for that length of time. I don't see how we could use the Summon Monster + Sculpt Spell trick, though, unless Bowen could use his Incantatrix trix for that. By the way, I noticed that Guidance of the Avatar has range touch. So I could give you a +20 Competence bonus to Spellcraft for using that on particularly difficult checks.

I don't remember how long ritual sacrifices take, either. We'd need time for that too, if we want to get the "free" XP.

It all depends on what Tshern deems too abusive and would use against us, as far as I'm concerned

As for the Incantatrix abilities, one only affects me, the other only affects allied casters

I don't see any such limitation, at least in the text you have in your character sheet. It even says you can be adjacent to the effect, which would definitely include something other than a personal buff, unless there is something more specific written elsewhere that contradicts that.

Also... unless you already have something granting a competence bonus to Spellcraft, I think you could actually Persist up to 9th level spells if AC or I hit you up with a Guidance of the Avatar... (DC = 18 +(3x15) = 63. GotA adds +20, and you have +46 already). That's pretty crazy...

NP. With your abilities, there is hardly any reason for the rest of us to even have the Persistent Spell feat.

So, even with the bonus overlap, you'd still be able to Persist 9th level spells most of the time, and 7th (the max anyone can currently cast, I think) would be no problem at all.

I don't know if we actually want to abuse this... We could, but it is kind of asking for it, I think. If Tshern has NPCs use it for something other than speeding up crafting, it could turn into an arms race. I mean, we're kind of getting into No-Ship/Terminator/Pun-Pun territory here, dabbling with the far realm and planar bubbles outside of time.

It might be fun, but I don't want to break the campaign...
So maybe I should just get the crafting golem, and we'll just let him work on stuff while we adventure? Or we could try to come up with a less abusive way to speed up crafting...
