Eh, I don't know anything about the relative durations of either spell.  I might be able to afford a chain metamagic rod.

The legion's GMW lasts for 1 min/level, while the standard GMW is 1 hour /level, IIRC....

So, let me get on the same boat...

Aside from White Raven Tactics, what maneuvers you guys think could help the party?

Anything that can sap the big T's AoO before my intiative.

Well... since I have Robilar's Gambit, if I go before you and the big T chooses to attack me, it will provoke an AoO... what reminds me.... aside from those lame 1st level mind affecting spells on SpC, is there any other spell to make the monster provoke an AoO?

I think he more intended for T to not be able to make AoOs on him. There are a few from the white raven school i can think of that will do it.

Good... because depending on his reach, I might incite all his AoO's on a turn for one attack.

I'll double check what is available. I can't guarantee i'll have it available on round 1 though. I know i have WR Strike which stuns so a few more that would deny AoO even not directly would work right.

Good, since the basics of my build includes falling onto the foe from a great high to maximize damage, not getting racked to bits on the way down would be a plus.

Do you guys think that Spontaneous Divination is worth it?

Edit: Also, should I go Silverbrow Human for the bonus feat or Dragonborn Gray Elf for the Elf Wizard ACF?  I need the dragonblood subtype.

Well... Will you miss that Metamagic feat?

And what about the dragonblood elf from Dragon Magic?

No I won't, I'm actually trying to figure out what to take as my last metamagic feat.

And the dragonblood elf doesn't have an Int bonus.  Final stats for Dragonborn Gray Elf are -2 Str, +2 Int.

Then go Spontaneous Divination and dragonborn gray elf...

.... 2 more votes remaining....

The question is: is a +2 to Int and the elf generalist sub. lvls. worth losing the human bonus feat?  :p

Well.... personally, I would go silverbrow, because I don't like elves much...

I don't know what the feat would go to, I'm making sure I can buy feats first.   :P

I'm back, but I'm going to have to bow out. Finals are next week and after that I'll have sporadic internet access until the spring semester.  No time to spend on making a character this complicated and then using it.

Sorry.

I'm in the same boat Nan. this is a really complicated character and i can't help but feel it is way too weak for this kind of competition. Lacking time is another big issue as my work situation is very unstable right now.
