I know its steering away from my build, but, if I were to take five levels in Dracolyte to gain Foster dragon and then some how survied 1201 years, would my wyrmling dragon be a great wyrm? :D

Technically, yes, but I doubt that the DM would let that happen.
A player once asked me if there was any way to make a Tarrasque more evil... 3 sessions later he was stoned with D20s as the PC led an exidus out of the path of a Dire Tarrasque of Legendary Wonder.

Hmm...you are probably right...20+ CR dragon as a "pet" at level 10 might be a bit to much... :P

I once had a ECl 13 character who was crowned king of the fire mephits... I had 300 CR 3 subjects...

You think? ;)

The rules are pretty basic. You get what the classes and wealth can get you. No time shenanigans. :P

I would never think to bend time, just have a really old guy and an aged dragon, who have actually lived and not been hidden away in suspended animation. Kind of like deciding to start out at an age in the venerable range for the mental bonuses.

But it was just merely an idea.

I haven't read the class lately, but I doubt it says the dragon ages and stays with you. It's like you're a tutor for the dragon. once it starts to age, it's leaving you and you'll have to get a replacement. Remember, dragons know they're better than you. ;P

I hereby order you to continue debate.
It always seems like the barrels around here have something in them.

OMG, like what happened to this awesome idea?

Anyways, whenever you AfterCrescent decide to grace us with your presence again got a house rule request.

Can we make a feat similar to the Energy Substitution for supernatural abilities/effects?
