Two questions:

Q17:  Where can I buy a badass longcoat?  I want one, but all the ones I see being sold are either too goth (black lipstick and gloom goth, not the superior chainmail and sword goth), too wimpy (lots of business-style longcoats, not looking for that), or for women.

Q18:  Is it some sort of cultural thing in japan to wear a helmet or head covering with only one eye exposed?  I see that semi-frequently in FF games.  Also, I was told that Auron's (of FFX) habit of carrying his arm in his kimono and carrying a stone jug of saki around was "a very ronin thing to do".  Explain?

The first is, I think, simply a matter of coolness. Having one eye covered is a surefire way to tell someone is a badass, due to the connection with eyepatches (which are badass as any scar is).
The arm bit, I believe, harkens back to the tradition of a samurai who had lost his master (a ronin) carrying his arm that way to symbolise the loss of an arm.

The second is just something I picked up somewhere, I've no idea how true it is.

The one-eye helmet/eyepatch thing relates to the loss of depth perception - "I don't need to see how fast it's coming, one eye is enough to beat you". It also relates to being unable to hear properly and thus not needing to.

As for the "very ronin thing to do", I haven't heard of anything similar to what Agita mentioned. I'd think it's related to the need to be constantly alert, however, which a ronin didn't need to do (as opposed to samurai, who were supposed to be ready to draw their swords at any time). Usually it's the right arm (AKA the sword arm) that's in the sleeve, too.

Another possibility is that since a gi can get in the way when you fight, one arm was worn out of the sleeve so the fighter could merely push it off his shoulders if need be (this is a common schtick in samurai stories, and the easiest symbolism would be found in Genjurou Kibagami of Samurai Spirits/Shodown fame). This is something a samurai couldn't do since a samurai is expected to look as impeccable as feasibly possible.

Q19: I remember a picture, I think maybe from an online comic, of a party of adventurers that included a pixie and a big bald warrior dude. I remember a dialogue between them that was pretty funny, also. Now I can't find it for the life of me, and that's about all I remember. I know it's not much to go on, but does anyone remember anything like this?

A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.

Q20:  I'm wanting to go backpacking in Europe for a month this summer.  How much money will I need if I don't mind living like a bum for a bit?

A 20

Depends on where you want to go, really. When I was in Paris this fall, I discovered that the French have absolutely no compunctions about charging double for something just because it says "Paris" on the map where you are.

Yeah, Paris isn't happening.  If I want to see garbage and street crime, I'd go to Detroit.  And feel safer than I would in Paris.

Here's the big thing, how can I find a deal on airline tickets?  I literally can't find anything cheaper than about a thousand dollars to get across the Atlantic.  (I might just take it down to one place, I could literally do a round trip ticket for the same price as a ticket one-way.  I might just get a round trip to/from Finland and explore around from there, as that was the primary idea.)  However, that's going to be a huge expense even than, how can I cut the price down?  I'm already flying coach, red-eye, and with layovers.

Need to know if my Visa Checkcard would work (My Uncle and Aunt were in Prague a while back and their visa didn't work a few months ago.  Then again, I've heard things about Prague...)  If not, how much cash to bring, and how to keep it secure.

Need to know if there's any weird laws that someone who didn't live there should know.  I'm assuming that it's frowned upon if I steal something or cut someone, is there anything that isn't common sense?

Fuck that shit. Street crime is a minor risk. Just stop driving a car and reduce your chance of getting killed in a car accident and cheat death in the super dangerous Paris.

I'd like to, but if I moved into town closer to where I work, my rent would literally triple.  I am currently not able to afford that.

Maybe comparing Paris to Detroit was a little unfair though.  But I still would like to say that I am not interested in going to Paris.  At all.  The topic of me going to Paris is now closed.

Paris is kind of a generic choice, isn't it? Come to Finland.

My brother's ex-girlfriend went to Paris.

She was literally separated from her group by a band of gypsies who then attempted to basically bully her off somewhere else.  Luckily, someone else in the group saw that and they threatened to call the Gendarmes.  An old gypsy women literally cursed my brother's ex as the band moved along.

I know that anecdotal evidence isn't particularly convincing, but I thought it was an interesting story.

EDIT:  And keep in mind I'm only planning to go to Finland.  If I can't save up enough money, I'm not going this summer.  (It's going to cost at least a grand for plane tickets, I estimate that I would need at least three grand and assume that's not enough).

My grandfather went to Greenland because they thought the Germans were going to attack, and they never did.

My Grandfather also says that Greenland is a boring place.
