Well it IS a curious fact... though it's more about the morphology of the skull than anything else (resonance and whatnot).

The fact of the matter is, black people tend to sing better.
I think this is more of a point of opinion, based on qualitative tastes.   :eh

I was speaking in technical terms. They don't necessarily pick the best songs to sing.

again, a matter of taste (opinion is funny like that  :p).  and by "technical terms", what aspects, specifically, are you referring to?  Range?  I don't know of any male singer with more range than Rob Halford or Geoff Tate; melody/harmony?  this goes right back to taste/perception (also, are really referring to all singers, or just ones that are easily accessible via pop-culture?).
also, I'm sure that you are going by "popular" music -- in this context, black musicians tend to get more exposure (by contrast, opera singers typically don't get much press, and are therefor largely unknown -- though, AFAIK, most of them are white).  I'm sure that in your personal experience that this assumption may be true (at least from a particular perspective); but making such a sweeping statement about ALL singers indicates to me that either a) your experience with music is limited to certain genres, or b) you are confusing fact with opinion (and vise-versa).

just an observation.
not trying to derail the thread, so I'll leave it alone at this point.

Q X+3: I have a project coming up soon in school where we are supposed to speak for about 12-15 minutes about something in an individual or population that is interesting from a genetic point of view. Not all that long ago we had a similar assignment where they told us to speak about something that was interesting from a systematic point of view and I spoke about my beloved monotremes. I am not sure if I want to speak about them again (even if they are incredibly cool) and was wondering if anyone here have some nice alternatives. Any ideas?
Mice have been produced from two female parents. They live 30% longer, and are smaller. This is likely related to the very interesting genetic phenomenon of gene silencing and epigenetics. Here is a non-technical news article to get you started: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2009/12/091201192105.htm

"Just what do you think the moon up in the sky is? Everyone sees that big, round shiny thing and thinks there must be something round up there, right? That's just silly. The truth is much more awesome than that. You can almost never see the real Moon, and its appearance is death to humans. You can only see the Moon when it's reflected in things. And the things it reflects in, like water or glass, can all be broken, right? Since the moon you see in the sky is just being reflected in the heavens, if you tear open the heavens it's easy to break it~"

Don't get too cocky, they can make children from two male parents now too.

And girl-on-girl is a distraction at best.  :p

Wouldn't they still need an egg to put the DNA into?
My work
The tier system in a nutshell:
[spoiler]Tier 6: A cartographer.
Tier 5: An expert cartographer or a decent marksman.
Tier 4: An expert marksman.
Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.

Good question, sperms also lack any amount of mitochondria worth mentioning except for in the tail (which is stuffed). Should anyone find an article on this I would love to read it.

Nah. Earth will remain inhabited for anyone looking for porn.

So Earth's population will decrease by roughly 23 humans and a cactus ?
