Well, Maat Mons is the highest volcano on the planet Venus, which is not helpful, so I will divide it into parts.  Maat was the Ancient Egyptian concept of truth, balance, order, law, morality, and justice.  Maat was also personified as a goddess regulating the stars, seasons, and the actions of both mortals and the deities, who set the order of the universe from chaos at the moment of creation.  

Since I can't submit a goddess, I think a LN cleric with the balance and law domains would be the closest personification of Maat.  The Mons part means mountain, so I suppose I should be an earth elemental.  

Let's say LN cleric 10 / elemental savant 10 with the balance and law domains and specialization in earth.

Well, Archivist 20, with a nice personal demiplane that's a giant room with various boards hanging from I giant web on the ceiling. Various threads dangle from the boards, and small mechanical spiders run across them, scribing comments that have been messaged to them by casters using greater scrying. The comments are of course written on small posts attached to the threads. The archivist floats around, reading all these small posts and participating in the discussion of how to properly train new adventurers.

Dude... that's a freakin' awesome movie. The character I have in Tshern's PbP is basically inspired by it.

I am thinking that star could take the form of a ghaele in globe form. Unless anyone knows of a more appropriate outsider?

Is there any sort of template which gives me a rune theme of some sort? Spellstitched works only for undead unfortunately.

There are some PrCs, like runecaster and geometer. Maybe multiclass with green star adept?

He's obsessed with killing any other characters with similar proclivities. ("No, I am THE Mad Linguist!" *stab* *stab* *stab*)

Also, instead of taking Willing Deformity (Madness), he could instead be a Monk/Paladin/Duskblade.

I have yet to find a template that can turn outsiders into undead, save for the animate dead spell, but I am not really hot on the idea of a ghaele skeleton, though I admit to having used them once for their strength. Any suggestions?

When that movie came out my friends and I were playing In Nomine (SJG), and one of the demon races worked that way.  From that moment on, they all sang "ti-i-i-ime is on my side"
