I just looked at the skills avaliable for an echocaller and thier is no Hide or Move Silently. Is this intentional.
It seems like with sneak attack these skills would be very advantagous.

Go ahead and volunteer here. Its not worth it to start a new one, imo.

I think Straw_Man and I have to divide the Historian and Ritualist between the two of us, if that's ok

Was kinda under the impression that Strato was going for Historian.  :confused

DnD classes is kind of like art. You make lots of stuff that everyone loves but aint no fun to play. This one is like getting a nude pic of Britney Spears when she was hot above your bed.  Anyone can appreciate it. And it works as it should in practise, not just in theory. -Me to Strato regarding his Elemental

I think the Martyr sounds interesting. As for email, I appear to be in the minority who actually displays one of mine in my profile.

Ok, this got a little busy in the few hours I was not here.

I count as interested players:
Myself
AlisAtAn
Ieniemienie
Akula
mace_of_sauron
Straw_man
and skydragonknight if he reappears.

I'm not averse to switching to another class if it garners less interest. The Historian is certainly the most complex, and will require changing your character sheet every day (Yup, ain't that fun :P), so if someone really wants to do all that bookkeeping, I will gladly step aside.

@ Echocaller: I'm not entirely certain if that omission was intentional. I wrote that particular class roughly a year ago, give or take a month. My memory of the initial skill list being what it is is somewhat murky.

I see interest in every class except for the ritual warrior, so far. If no one decides in the end to play that, I'll happily shunt over there and become the party beatstick.

First round of emails is being sent now. There's only three so far, so everyone else should get me their contact information soon.

Maybe we should have a standard utility Wizard to compare the power levels of the different classes?

I would say that a well built wizard is likely slightly above the power level I was aiming at, given just what they can do to encounters, especially as the levels get higher. Think more along the Psychic Warrior/Rogue/Binder power level, rather than the primary caster ones.

It does not, but it might well be added. I, personally, don't like that trapfinding restriction and often ignore it.

I'm interested, mostly in the Historian (I often want to change what my character does combat-wise on a day-to-day basis, and I don't mind extra book keeping), although I would be happy playing a (psychic?) rouge to be a balance tester.
Heck, the Ritual Warrior sounds pretty sweet too if no one else wants him...

So...
After discussing things with Strato, I think we have:

Strato:                    Ritual Warrior
Alis:                        Chronomancer
Mimimi :P:                Ritualist
Straw_Man:             Historian
TheWordSlinger:       Historian
Mace_of_Sauron:      Echocaller
Akula:                     Martyr
SixthDeclension:       DM  :clap :clap :clap

Going with 2 historians as it is a fairly complex class. Let me know if I missed anyone.
Odin, Feral Shifter Feral Shifter. "Can I drown the dead rat now?"
Loke, Dread Magnate "Me all good and nice. Ask any questions and I`ll kill you twice."
