What's the BAB on that, like 4?  :lmao (Yeah, I know you can fix that via partial progressions, a skillful weapon, Divine Power, etc).

Also, a Red Wizard can have a better Sneak Attack than you with one spell.  :P  :lol
[spoiler]
A couple of water benders, a dike, a flaming arrow, and a few barrels of blasting jelly?

Sounds like the makings of a gay porn film.
...thanks

But your DM won't stare at your sheet for 5 minutes straight if you are a Red Wizard.

Iajuitsu Focus explicitly does not stack with Sneak Attack, so that won't work.

It doesn't stack, but if conditions exist for both to trigger, wouldn't they both apply?  You'd need a means of keeping the target flat-footed (invisibility comes to mind...) and a bunch of weapons to draw (Master Thrower...) but so long as the trigger conditions are met, why wouldn't they both apply to said hapless target?

Because the rules specifically say you can't trigger both IF and Sneak Attack at once, sadly enough.

Quote from: From http://wiki.rpg.net/index.php/3.5_L5R_Skills

Iaijutsu Focus (Cha)
This skill allows you to channel your chi more effectively when making an attack. Whenever you are making an attack roll immediately after drawing a weapon and your target is flat-footed, you may make an Iaijutsu Focus check as a free action. The results of the roll determine the amount of additional damage done, as shown on the following table:

        10-14: +1d6
        15-19: +2d6
        20-24: +3d6
        25-29: +4d6
        30-34: +5d6
        35-39: +6d6
        40-44: +7d6
        45-49: +8d6
        50+: +9d6

This damage is not cumulative with sneak attack damage or similar abilities if your character has them.

I don't remember seeing that text in Oriental Adventures, and the quote you provided is from Legend of the Five Rings d20.

Hmm.  I thought that was from a 3.5 update of OA (the page made it seem as such).  If it's not relevant, then awesome!

I'm not sure, actually. I'd have to go crack open Dragon 318 and OA to check, and I'm not at home. It says it is for 3.5 OA and Rokugan, and the latter is of course the 3rd party campaign setting for Lot5R.

Here, let me help:

As far as I can tell, Dragon 318 did not change Iaijutsu Focus at all. In fact, the only mention of Iaijutsu Focus is in the the Power Attack - Iaijutsu Focus feat, whose prerequisites changed.

And all the errata/update did was remove the halving of damage on objects.

It doesn't matter, much, as I'm disallowing Dragon, also 3.0 stuff, unless it's been updated. Outside of Dragon, obviously. Also, BoED/VD are offlimits. because, honestly.
Witty sayings? Nah, not right now. Currently playing Dwarf Fortress and League of Legends. I really recommend League of Legends.

Well in the case of OA the 3.5 update is in Dragon, so...

Strongheart Halfling (Races of something)
Barbarian1/Scout 3/Rogue 13/Wizard 3

Barbarian Lion totem variant.(Complete champion)
Rogue Penetrating strike variant. (Dungeonscape)
Focused Specialist wizard variant (Whatever wraith strike is)
Feats:
Darkstalker (Lords of Madness)
Craven (Champions of Ruin)
Swift Ambusher (Complete scoundrel or adventurer)
Two weapon fight
Imp two weapon fight
anything else that gives you more attacks.

and after that, really whatever you want

Craploads of raw damage, all touch attacks thanks to wraithstrike

How about a good ol' Bard 20. nice buffs in-class, and glibness to ensure that you're never caught (Of course I didn't steal your jewels. Oh, this? I bought it with my inheritance!)

Not to derail a perfectly legitimate idea, but if going the bard route, that just screams for Snowflake Wardance and Sublime Chord :P

Oh definitely. I myself like a Bard8/Virtuoso2/SC2/Virtuoso+8, or a Bard4/Warblade16, or a Bard/War Chanter/Dread Pirate with Snowflake Wardance and DFI, or a Fochlucan Lyrist (which by the way should look like Bard1/Druid5/Divine Oracle4/FL10) or whatever the hell else. Bard 20 is still a legitimate choice though.
