Character concept voteoff

Well, it looks like my efforts of finding a group slightly closer to home have paid off. Instead of making a 45 minute trip, it's now more like a 25-30 minute travel time.

That said, the game with the new group will be an Ebberon campaign, low level, and I've already got a few ideas thought up so far. I'm curious as to what you guys think I should play, though I'm fine with any of them. First is a Talenta Halfing Ranger, going into Wild Plains Outrider and Halfing Outrider, selecting something like a Velociraptor or a Pteranodon as my AC, and riding around doing mean things. Next is a Lyrandar Half-Elf Sorcerer, mainly to get my fix of caster tastiness. Lastly would be a Shifter Warblade, focusing mainly on Tiger Claw manuevers, as well as picking up fun stuff via Martial Study.
YAY! I get to go to the SPECIAL hell!

That host with their banners at sunset were seen:
Like the leaves of the forest when Autumn hath blown,
That host on the morrow lay withered and strown.

You could go the supermount route if you wanted too which would fit with the halfling idea.

Both of the Prestige Classes I mentioned for the Halfling offer full AC advancement. I'm just wondering how effective Ranger 4/ Paladin 4/ WPO 2/ Halfing Outrider 10 would work, and if they enhance my Special Animal Companion Mount.

-Paladin 5/Beastmaster 1 works better.
-if the starting level is 4 or below, make do with a mundane (as mundane as a dinosaur gets) mount in the meantime. They're rather cheap

-Halfling Outrider would add +1 to both sides at the same time by RAW, and thus improve boost aspects of the AC-Mount. But its something you should probably clarify with the DM beforehand.

-It may be better to get one of the dinosaurs mentioned in the ECS instead. They have listed prices so in all likelyhood your DM will allow it.
