oral exams

Yeah, I'd be nervous too
Sorry, too easy :P
My thoughts exactly. Made me think of the scene from "Natural Born Killers" where she shoots the random dude who's going down on her, and says "Next time don't be so god damned eager!" I hope your "instructors" aren't as harsh with their discipline methodology.  :p
Screw you guys too. :P Oh well, might as well play along.

Got nearly perfect grades. Was close to hyperventilating at 7 am, but I got better as I kept doing well. Had the hardest one first, too. Rest were a piece of cake.

Non-silly summary: Passed with distinction, narrowly missed perfect grades (one 2 - equivalent to a B - on Chemistry, straight 1s - A equivelent - on everything else). Woohoo.

Tier 3: An expert marksman, cartographer and chef who can tie strong knots and is trained in hostage negotiation or a marksman so good he can shoot down every bullet fired by a minigun while armed with a rusted single-shot pistol that veers to the left.
Tier 2: Someone with teleportation, mind control, time manipulation, intangibility, the ability to turn into an exact duplicate of anything, or the ability to see into the future with perfect accuracy.

RuisRock today after work. Three days of awesome music, sun, drinking and meeting people. Interesting to see how Ozzy Osbourne performs tonight, he seemed pretty energetic five years ago with Black Sababth...

Yes he does, far as I know. Been listening to the radio at work and heard some songs that don't ring any bells, so they must be new. I guess he'll clarify things personally tonight.

You know me, wherever I go, there's a party, a big party with plenty of booze, scantily dressed women and loads of near fatal accidents!

Not really into the two first bands, but Rammstein's shows are amazing and Apocalyptica is just plain awesome no matter what.

Also, Banor, try this: Apocalyptica - Helden. Apocalyptica and Till Lindemann covering David Bowie in German, an experiment in excellence.

I can't feel my legs anymore, thanks to cycling to the festival and back. Ozzy was awesome.

Hangover. I need to turn this into intoxication and be swift about it. Then cycle back to the festival, get even more wasted and so forth.

This show was like Insane. By far the most awesome thing I've ever experimented. Heck Bruce even made the whole show in French (except for the songs of course :P). We were around 80k+ and the crowd was great. Seriously Maiden is a step up over the other bands :D

Yes, yes they are :)

And El Dorado is great :)

Now to wait for July 13 for Satellite 15...The Final Frontier, then August 16 for the entire album, and then 2011 for a chance to see them live...

Congrats. I've been losing some weight myself lately. It's nice to have to wear a belt with pants I couldn't even comfortably fit into not long ago. :D I don't know exactly how much I've lost as the battery is dead in our scale. :P (And it's one of those annoying little watch-type batteries...)

Gained five pounds during the few months. Muscle though, so it's all good.

I had a brief scare at work today:

Yesterday I pushed an update of a project into production with seemingly no issues.  This morning, I find five emails in my inbox all related to problems with this project.  I got pretty worried because I get dinged on my performance if I push things to production with defects.  I read through them all and they were all user-error.

High five!  No one-on-one with the boss!
