Baleful Polymorph can be nice, but not for a half-caster as this Ranger. By halfcaster, I mean that his WIS isn't his primary focus.

I don't follow you. I'm a full caster, just that I have other classes in there. I'd be no different than a fighter 4/druid 7. I'm 1 for 1, and have a WIS of 18. Is it because I've been putting my ability points into DEX? What?

Well, your WIS isn't as high as possible, which means your DC of Baleful Polymorph isn't so good. Baleful Polymorph requires a Fort save, and those are generally good saves of monsters. The fact that you have other classes, hurts your caster level, hence chances of getting through Spell Resistance.
