Yeah, I'm not going to change my skills TOO much, but I figure the group could use a melee specialist who could still act as pointman.  I'll work through both characters and then decide closer to the end...

For comparison:

I still have a skill point to use that I want to drop on another speak language. What do you guys suggest? Character-wise, a language from that area would make sense, though I could reasonably take French as it used to be the official diplomatic language of Israel years ago according to Wiki and many students still study it there. This might be too metagame though as I know that we will atleast be encountering some french language stuff.

I remembered that I had a weapons proficiency and thought I could use guns.    :facepalm'

I'll take gearhead if I can't find anything else, but it is one of the feats I can get as a bonus from Engineer...

Also, I don't know if it's going to be useful but my character is going to know how to read binary.   :p

If you guys are a Weekend Crew, then it would make sense for you to have been recruited partially because of knowing French.

If you guys decide to be a Lancer Crew, then the likelyhood goes down. However, I would dare say that French is quite a common language. Maybe your character dated a Frenchman for a while and picked it up. Who knows.
