The tier system in a nutshell:

Along these lines,
is the dude at 538.com , who did the best Polling interpretations during the pres race.

High Math + tricky wording of every poll + consistent tipping of hand in state-by-state previous votes = best predictions

Good stuff.
Even if one ignores the whole Repub/Democ/Indy preference one has, the accuracy of his stuff was spooky.

Of course, we've only got one planet to worry about. When we start shipping out to Trantor, I'll be more concerned. ;)
