So only humans can take it, unless you're using flaws, and they get Regen 1 from level 1?

That actually compensates for having to take Toughness.  :twitch
Yes, it does.

Q 262: Found this on a google search; is this the Troll Blooded feat from whatever issue of Dragon Magazine?

Troll Blooded [General]
Your family tree contains the blood of the trolls.
Prerequisite: Toughness.
Benefit: You gain regeneration 1 as an extraordinary ability. Fire and acid deal normal damage to you. If you lose a limb or a body part, the lost portion regrows in 3d6 days. You can reattach the severed member as a full-round action by holding it to the stump. You are fatigued while exposed to sunlight.
Special: You can take this feat at 1st level only.

A262
It actually isn't exactly. There's a race requirement. See Troll Blooded. Those are Greyhawk-specific races.

Q 263:

If a troll (which has 63 hp's) takes 67 points of fire damage (thus putting him at -4 hp's), does he auto stabilize (because the HP loss while dying isn't fire or acid damage) or does he risk bleeding out (because the loss of hit points in this instance isn't technically classified as "damage," [unlike the point of damage taken from strenuous actions while disabled] and thus isn't treated as nonlethal for the purposes of regeneration)?

As long as that much damage isn't dealt by fire or acid, he's probably okay (operative word being probably - this assumes he doesn't have fast healing of any sort). As a rule of thumb, critters with fast healing/regeneration don't stop healing when unconscious. Lemme dig up Rules Compendium for precision though.

EDIT: No specific mention. However, given that the rest of the regeneration entry mentions that an unconscious, regeneration-capable creature can only be Coup de Grace'd with an attack form that destroys its regeneration, I'm pretty sure it doesn't bleed out.

Q 264: Is there any class or domain that grants Raise Dead as a fourth-level spell?  I'm aware of Reincarnate, but I'd rather not resort to that.

I don't think so. You could buy a scroll, though. Or pay an NPC.

Not that I can tell.
Raise dead is a fifth level spell for Adept, Apostle of Peace, Cleric, and Healer.  As far as I can tell, there are no domains that grant it.

Reincarnate is granted by Renewal domain as a fourth level spell... but other than druid, that's it.

There is one that has Limited Wish and under 6 HD, but I forget what it is... It could emulate Raise Dead with that. (I remember it because you could use it to "boot-strap" your way into the Wish Economy early...)

Not gonna go with The Paz.  DM wouldn't let that fly.

Oh, something like that would be great.  Do you remember anything else about it?  Perhaps its alignment or any idea of the source?

Or does anyone else, for that matter?  The only NPCs I could get a rez from are the kind I'd rather not owe a favor to.  I'd rather get interplanar politics going and have Cthulhu holding an axe over my head.

Found a post mentioning it on here. According to this, it is the Dao from Manual of the Planes. I haven't checked it.

That's going well beyond the DM's tolerances.  The DCFS stunt won't fly, and I don't think my DM would accept my taking Infernal Bargainer considering this would be the first fiend of any sort my character's ever summoned in her life.  Or... second since I have someone I want to have devoured by a barghest first.

In that case, I don't assume there's any quick and easy way to get five levels in Malconvoker either? ;) That would be the other way to get extra HD on Planar Binding I can think of.
