Druid speaking in WildShape

I'm pretty sure that druid's can speak while in wildshape now but just looking for refutation or conformation.

Can they?

Okay, in rereading the druid and wildshape I am finding nothing that says they loose the ability to speak when wildshaped.

Seems the inability to speak was likely a errant hold over in my mind from 3.5.

I suppose you could play it that way if it makes more sense to you (it makes more sense to me...)

But now I'm thinking about playing a Kalashtar Druid for the Telepathy...look ma, no drawbacks!

I don't find any restrictions on speaking while WS'd either. I'd say it doesn't really matter when it's an at-will ability usable as a minor action once per round.

Definitely matters in not having to give up actions to change form to communicate, especially in combat when you have info to pass to others.

This post originally came up due to situation in a game I was running.

I only realised just then that the post was almost a month old XD

Thanks for correcting me, Hallack.
