Sorry Effective Character Level is 5
Pretty much all books are available.
The ability to recognize and defeat spells and enchantments is very important because our DM loves to use that kind of stuff to stump us.

A church inquisitor has amazing ability to recognize enchantment and illusion, but is the exact opposite of the archetype you're looking for. they get a will save vs illusions just by looking at them, which is boss as hell. If you can hack being lawful good and being in a church of a lawful good god and still pull off your dashing hero archetype, this is what you're looking for. Archivist/Church Inquisitor is very smart and deals with magic and then some. They even get a bonus on dispel checks.

Uh... Mind Blank and true seeing whip illusions and enchantments, so try to get those eventually. some classes are immune to fear which is nice.

If you could just get a permanent (or at-will) Detect Magic, that would show you when someone's affected by an enchantment. A cantrip at will can't be too hard to get.

How about a Beguiler? I'm a big fan of the class :) It's Int-based with some focus on Cha-based skill (Bluff) so it'd be easy to role-play him/her as witty and dashing, is quite combat-effective (not much undeads in Sharn now is there? It's not like it's based on Karrnath!) and can deal with mages (dispel!).

A beguiler sounds like a good idea.
I never played one though.

Urban Savant in Cityscape eventually gets the ability to automatically with a DC 15 knowledge check see if anything is disguised in a city. They also get some nice abilities like giving the entire party +3d6 damage on all attacks against certain enemy types. Beguiler + Urban Savant would probably work well.

Otherwise, Factotum's are always great.

Working off the beguiler idea... Beguiler 4/Binder 1/Anima Mage X. Not as caster focused, but now you have a ton of options through binding.
