No problem. I figured you didn't want to give the impression that the man in black didn't know what he was doing. I'd imagine it was pretty universal knowledge back then, anyway.

I gotta say, I love your character's thought-monologues, jacemachine :)

Thanks man--! I really wanted to do something that was as opposite from what I'm doing in GMing as I could. And as different from most other posts I have seen. Keeps it interesting for me.

I also have to play the cynic as well, being that my character has doesn't belive in God anymore. Finding belief in ANYTHING at this point will be a case to case basis.

Right now though, he's extremely confused now as well.

Well, to be fair, Bones doesn't know that. His line of reasoning runs as follows: 1) People on the roof shooting each other means they have a precarious grip, 2) Emergency brakes are quick because of the word "emergency", 3) 1 and 2 together don't sound like a good idea.

Besides, we're bringing physics into a discussion on a d20 game...Catgirls are dying left, right, and center here. ;)

And yeah, good thing we've got a doctor around to patch everyone up...

(borrowed from Jacemachine's excellent Artifact campaign)

I'm making a big change starting immediately. For ease of GM roll checkings, I will REQUIRE that you log in to the Invisible Castle Die Roller.

I need everyone to include the following info:

Character Name: Your Character's name.
Campaign Name: The Good, the bad, and the Undead

This will make it WAAAAAY easier for me to check things as well.

If any rolls are made after June 17th that do not comply to this standard, I will not count them.

The train cars are in this order: Engine, coal car, baggage car, horse car, second class, first class, dining car, observation car.
You're currently standing at the front of the observation car.  The dining car in front of you is more or less impassable unless you get off the train and walk around.
Okay then... roughly how big is the gap between the observation car and the dining car?  :smirk

About 4 feet.  You could fall forward and still make it across.
There's a ladder down from either side.  Or you could just jump the 13 feet to the uneven rocky ground below...   :smirk

That's what I thought. I was going to ask, but then I decided I'd have Cedric jog to the horses and ask then... and then I got ambushed by Doc' "You need healz!" and forgot about asking it while being patched up. :P

Oh, no offense, doc'. I'm grateful. It's just funny to find yourself being stopped by someone healing you... kinda like in Left 4 Dead. >_>

It'd be a little tricky on a horse. Just thought I'd get it out of the way now.
