The Good, the Bad, and the Undead

"Aren't I supposed to be the alcoholic?" smirked, then nodded toward the right saddlebag, "Should be a bottle in there. Your welcome to some, bu'don't go to town; I still might need a bit m'self after this."

"I'm much obliged. I could use a nip or three to take the chill out of my bones..." It wasn't particularly cold... but I FELT cold. Spiritually... emotionally... whatever the cause I sure wanted to feel that burn down my throat.

I pulled on the reigns to halt the horse. "You tired of wearing your boots out yet?"

I passed over Cedric's canteen before I found his bottle of whiskey. I nodded my thanks, and pulled the cork. I took a pull and the firewater began to work it's magic. As the whiskey worked it's way into my guts, I passed the bottle to its owner. "That's just as good as any I've tasted in a while. Thankya."

Cedric nodded back and took a gulp of the whiskey himself before corking it again and placing it back into the saddlebag, "Welcome, father. I s'pose I could ride for a bit."
